You probably get most of them from SSE. I'm going to get Falcon that way only because 12 min seems too short if it's Normal or greater difficulty. IIRC, it was 20 min in Melee. The other characters I'll get from the other non-SSE/match # ways just to have more of a challenge.

In a recent interview, Sakurai has confirmed that no extra character will be obtainable via WiiConnect24 or other means. He even states that he doesn't think it's even possible on the Wii itself. Sakurai also mentions that no other third party companies approcahed him at all for characters.

Masahiro Sakurai: No. There are no characters that can be unlocked via connecting to WiiConnect24 or interacting in that fashion. And I may be mistaken here, but the Wii doesn't have a hard drive -- it's a disc-based system -- so I don't think we'll be doing that, I don't think it's going to happen.

As if the prospect of having to pay for online gaming wasn't bad enough Nintendo of America has let slip that Super Smash Bros Brawl won't be out in Europe until autumn at the earliest.

To rub salt in the wound the reason given was that they can't print enough DVDs in time to release it earlier.

That's the most preposterously weak excuse we've ever heard, but what the real reason is we couldn't guess.

Skimmed through some forums on Brawl Central. Looks like it was only released in Sears in the West and Mid-West of the US.

Anyway, seems like this is a one-time thing. I don't think any other places will release early. Perhaps this "leak" so to speak will make Nintendo strict on other retailers.

A lot of game companies are too timid to put anything out on the Wii because the motion-sensing stuff is too complicated for them. They don't wanna risk a flop (like "No More Heroes")

They might have to quit the tradition of a lot of their games (one new Zelda per system, one Mario platformer per system, one Smash Bros. per system.) Hell, Nintendo already stated that the next Zelda was coming out sooner than expected.

i have comcast and i had issues with the router we already had
so i went and bought a linksy router and it didnt work and i had
a comcast man come and everything and he was completly
clueless as to why i bought the router and let alone what
a wii was

so i read that the nintendo usb worked but only for close
connections but it was my last resort. it worked, with my
wii being on a whole nother floor than the computer. but
it tends to stop working at times when you unplug it
and then it wont let you download the software again,
idk i get lucky when i randomly mess with it. ive learned
my lesson so i never unplug it.

Anywa, Sonic is the complete definition of cool. I'll give it to ya, Knuckles is a beast (especially in the comics), but he's just under Sonic's level of coolness. Even Shadow is pretty lame sometimes. Knuckles hasn't really done a lot of cool stuff over the years, it's usually just Sonic. Sonic is probablly the coolest character in Brawl.
