Alot may not know or remember the Silverhawks, but how would you feel about a live action movie involving the Silverhawks?

Silly or no?

I liked the Silverhawks, but I really don't think a live-action movie is necessary. I don't think Silverhawks was as popular as Thundercats, and I don't think it would get the big screen treatment before them. I also think the FX, and costumes would be hard to do unless it was total CGI. And besided all that, what would be the point?

It was a good cartoon, and I think they should just leave it alone. Unless its an animated or CGI version, they'll mess it up. Even if it wouldn't be live action, they would probably mess it up.

I don't know DarKush about the costume thing. There was a movie in the 80's called Brazil and there was some sort of dream sequence where the guy looked just like Quicksilver. Check it out, you'll see what i'm talking about.

I've heard of the show but I don't know what's it about. Can someone please tell me? And as for a live action, I'd say no but an animated one will do maybe

Galaxy High would be a much better idea to do as a film.. it would be such a kick ass throwback to older 80s John Cusak type of collage films mixed in with both modern humor and even 80s funny humor in the form of space balls or anything along those lines plus huge huge sci fi... it would kick so much ass

"Sky High" was enough, & it was the same premise.

The Silverhawks were in the same universe as the Thundercats. The were set from earth to stop Mon-Star.

Oh GODS no! That song was so very lame. ".....Silverhawks, a rainbow in the niiiiiiiiight..." eeeych!

I think it could be a good movie if they took a more serious approach to it. FX and costumes wouldn't be much of a problem nowadays. they just need to stay away from cornball crap like when the guitar playing cowboy guy & the evil keyboard-tar playing punk rock girl would fight with beams of music.

I always liked that cyborg hawk though. Tally-Hawk, I blelieve, was the name.

^^^ hehehe That song is one of the few things I remember about that show. And those stupid colorful music attacks too :down Ugh that was dumb.

^^ Copper Kid got on my nuts; if they do a live-action film, he needs to be offed in the worst way possible.

when i was in elementary school, i used to push one sleeve of my jacket up and run around on the basketball courts pretending i was flying in space.

interesting to note: silverhawks was produced by the same people as thundercats, used the same theme with different lyrics, and the same voice actors.

Less interesting note: The Silverhawks show led me into a rather disturbing Hawk-themed fetish that lasted well into junior high school.

Not in a sexual way, more like a sad and pathetic "this kid will never get laid" way. I tried to invent my own version on the team. Drew tons of Naopleon Dynamite-esque pictures depicting my "characters" and their weapons.

I just thought it was SO cool that their wings and talons would appear with a little flash of bueish ligh, and of course, they always beat the bad guys in the end.

Never got any action figures though. Cheap-ass parents.

If any1 has seen The Legend of Zu. Well the then those people who worked on the CGi for that could pull it off. But a Silverhawks mvoie is still just a dream. Much like the faint memories of the cartoon. Which was a total ripoff of Thundercats. I always wanted a SH toy though. I always thought the guitar dude was tacky. But at least were gonna get to see the Silver Surfer! Which is a total dream come true for me. I can't freakin wait for that.

If ever a Silverhawks movie were to happen, I think it would require a mjor revamping of the whole concept. I'd like to see it done in a heavily PG-13 attitude. Say Mon-Star is killing off whole planets & the Silverhawks are much more agressive in their approach to bringing him down. P'raps a little more graphic useage of the shoulder mounted lasers in the long range and some judicious application of the heel-talons in hand to hand combat.

I always liked the Copper kid's litte throwing discs. Mebbe he could take a few heads off or something. I think it's got potential, it's just probably too obscure to merit an acutal movie.

the theme tune sticks with you, but it has nothing on the Bucky O hare theme
