Brenna Lee Roth role in Spiderman3

Here is an interesting story involving Brenna Lee Roth and her role in Spiderman3, in the recent Cleveland shoot a week or two ago. The question is.... is she a villain?.............


Without giving too much away about the plot, I'll tell you about my favorite scene I did in Spiderman 3. It took 9 days to shoot a chase scene between Spidey and Sandman. Sandman appears on top of a Brinks (bank) truck, and busts thru the top to take control of the truck. As Spidey tries to stop him, Sandman begins to "bleed" sand out into the cab of the truck, filling it and forcing down the gas pedal. The truck begins to accelerate and crashes into several other cars.

At the end of the Street there is a Garbage truck that Sandman crashes into, sending the brinks truck flying upside down across the street. All along the way, Spidey is shooting webs and saving people from the destruction. As Sandman crashes, Spidey leaps off the top of the truck and makes his exit, where he then runs into me, on a bus. The rest you will have to wait for!

It was a pleasure to work with Dan Bradley. I think a lot of people don't realize how much work an Assistant Director does. He did give me the low down on Dukes of Hazards 2, but I'm sure nobody wants to hear about that. Also, Spideys suit is padded in some areas, but not in the butt. That's real. I know for a fact. Colin Follenweider, an amazing athlete, played Spideys stunt double.


......... or is she trying to hint that she's Black Cat.... with the "I know for a fact" comment, as if she squeeze the sharmin in her action scene with the stunt double.

that scene sounds cool,
we seen the shots of the armor truck scene being filmed, and in those scene spiderman is still in his colored suit, also in the shots I'v not seen Church, around on set, there probably trying to keep it underwraps, but it kinda makes me think sandman in the scene is mostly CGI.

Okay so spidey jumps off the truck as it crashes, and shoots out a web to land safetly. He realizes that he can't beat Sandman just yet, and as he's in the air...Sandman stretches up and hits him out of the air, like swatting a fly. Spidey is knocked through the window of a bus and lands in this chick's lap....she squeezes his ass and goes "Hey spidey."

He says something sarcastic like "Always nice to meet admiring fans." She like purrs and bites at him "sexily". He says "I'd rather be out there!!" And leaves.


I'm thinking that's about all we'll see of this chick. Something short like that.


And btw, everyone..use common sense. She can't be Black Cat, because then they would have casted her as Felicia Hardy and she would have much more of a role. Sam Raimi would have to be intoxicated to bring in a character that the general audience wouldn't know and not go into a backstory as to who they were. <sarcasim>Yeah, dude, Black Cat's going to show up for all the grace of 2 seconds with no backstory or reason to be in the film. </sarcasim>


Also "Brenna Lee Roth" is kinda cute. Like I said, cuter wth longer hair. But she's not "OMGWTFLOLz I totally drooled and cre*med myself looking at her picture!!" Let's try being productive.

She is probably grabbed by the Sandman and being used as a hostage type thing...you know...like Doc Ock did on top of the train in SM2. But yeh, I'm a fan of hers because I love B Horror movies, but I wouldn't want to see her as a villian and we need to just stay far away from Black Cat all together right now. It's more "realistic" and interesting to see Peter going through his problems without having ANOTHER women on the scene. I personally think it should be all about Peter Parker the first few movies. If it ever gets to 5 THEN introduce the Black Cat but now is not the time.
