k i just got this awsome idea for a new weapon for the Joker. how about a switchblade disguised as a candy cane? ya know it's actually metal and when batman comes in joker can grab a candy cane and start twirling it around his fingers and batman is suspecting nothing and all of a sudden a blade pops out of the end of it and Joker starts stabbing him with it? although that would be better suited for murdering innocents. instead of trying to take on the bat with it. and he could supply his thugs with them when they are trying to beat the bat. what do ya think?

Joker doesn't cut people, he uses less invasive but still gruesome means of murder, such as smile gas and exploding Jack-in-the Boxes.

How about a tommy gun disguised as an umbrella.

(i'm talking about the scene where he meets with the councilman guy)

Joker having a knife is not a problem. And I think that ganstaman56's idea about that weapon is cool but not enough to make a thread only for that.
Also, ganstaman56...try to avoid triple posting. I know you cannot quote all on one post but you can just edit the first post and add the quote code in and quote the person and then show your reply.

The only animated movie I recall the Joker having a knife was in the flashback part of Return of the Joker. I am talking about the scene where Batman has Joker's neck in his hand and is threatening him and Joker is like "Riiiight...if you had the kind of fun for that Batman you would have done it YEARS ago." *slashes chest and stabs leg with knife*.
I believe I got that quoted line pretty close. :P

Yep, I'm betting thats one of the scenes that got that movie a PG-13 rating (which is a good thing).

In the director's cut he has a knife. In the cut version he does not. Just like in the director's cut Joker dies way differently.

Ya. I loved how Tim shot Joker with his "bang" gun instead of how in the cut version Joker gets pushed into the controls and I forget how but like water gets in there and he gets fried? I got the director's cut (uncut version) so I forget how the "cleaner and cut" version went.

You know what was stupid though? How in the cut version they even editted the part in the flashback where Batgirl is questioning those two hookers (one looked like Black Canary a bit too :P) and replaced with like two normal dressed girls. Something so small lol.

Something so small lol.actually it was a man and a woman, but yeah that was pretty dumb.and especially how they edited batman throwing a knife at the joker yet they get rid of that in the cut version but then when joker starts laughing and stuff and you still see the hole in the curtain.

I'm just saying he doesn't cut people as a rule, not enough to warrant him making a custom knife/candy cane. He may have used a knife maybe a dozen times in his 60+ year history, he's used a gun more often that that.
actually it looked more like he sort of punched him in the stomach.
I figured he injected him with the laughing toxin. Makes more sense, no?
