interesting video.....it shows Sam throwing a rock at Starscream's gun to knock it out of his hand (practically impossible) but there's complaining about humans doing too much in this movie.

I agree that is a little silly, but hey what can you do?

I think because this is the first live-action TF film we just want to see the 'bots do they stuff. Which we will get to see I am just hoping that the Transformers themselves don't make the humans seem boring. I want to enjoy all the film not just the Robots.

Back in the early 1990s, an attempt was made in the UK to dub and release the Japanese cartoon continuation (Headmasters, Masterforce and Zone) into afternoon cartoon shows. However the translators were horrible and apparently StarTV could only hire 3 or 4 voice actors total....the end result, hilarious (note: THIS IS NOT PARDOY, THIS WAS A SERIOUS DUBBING ATTEMPT)

The clip where Sam keeps his dad inside the house so he wont discover the TF's in the backyard, is just hilarious!!! And my God, you really can't see that it's the least bit CG even when TRYING to notice it!!! It's truely UNbelievable! It's true what Shia says, it really is something you've NEVER seen before!!!

And talking about Shia! The kid really has a great presents when on camera! Such a great flair for beeing comedic/funny on screen! The way he's acting like TOTALLY nervous that his dad will notice the Autobots, while doing everything to keep him inside is just so great! And the absolutely out-of-the-blue corny dialogue which he delievers, is funny as hell! "Dad...God I love you!... Yeah...well I don't blame him for not knowing everything about a movie he hasn't had the chance to see yet. I still support his right to stay in ignorance to some of the film's finer points if he indeed wishes to preserve the "surprise" factor of going to the movies. Certainly nothing wrong with avoiding spoilers.

However, what I don't like is people who take misconceptions about a long running franchise and apply them to Transformers as a whole. There are some people out there, who because of B89, still think Joker actually murdered Bruce's parents. However, any Batfan can easily tell you this is not the case. The G1 cartoon was a large part in the start of the Transformers franchise, but any fan can tell you that these changes made in the movie are any different than the changes and evolution that Hasbro has been doing to the franchise since day 1 of that toyline's release. Those who mistake Transformers for something it isn't, a defunct show in the 80s, not only will be disappointed with the movie but everything Transformers has been since 1987....which is many things. Transformers was designed to sell toys of the same name, the toyline, not the show is what is central to the franchise and what has dictated it's direction for quiet some time. And if your aim is to create a movie celebrating this toyline then you have to try to encompass more than just one show, you have to capture the essence which involves everything from Transformers (G1) to Armada, to Beast Wars Neo.
