New Returns Promos at Cannes!

I've looked around but i don't think i've seen this posted. Found shots of some Superman Returns promos that are on display at Cannes where the world famous film festival of the same name will be held.

Everytime you come around there is something new.

Those are the posters we saw that were supposedly in Argentina's cinemas, it looks like they are also hanging proudly and larger then life in Cannes.

Well, the reaction here is in stark contrast to Superman homepage. It is certainly strange. On a personal front I liked the poster of Superman and Lois but yes the others just look a little half baked, as if not much consideration was given to them, not attractive enough basically.

Am I the only one who thinks Miami Vice is either going to generate NO interest and flop or do average business at best? I keep seeing it advertised alongside all of the BIG movies of the summer (Superman, X-Men, Pirates) and I just don't get it. It's a rehash of an old TV show that is made fun of these days more than it is revered (GTA: Vice City is a good example of this), both of the stars have very shaky box office credibility, as does the director. I think the only thing it has going for it is the fact that it was Mann's TV show and he's directing the film as well, so it will probably stay somewhat true to his original vision, though I for one feel Mann is vastly overrated and his style of direction and cinematography is so similar that the majority of his films look like they could be sequels to each other.

But that's just my opinion.
