Angel Spotlight: Illyria

I read this- it's pretty great, though I would have liked to have seen more Wes/Illyria interaction as they were one of the best parings on the show. I loved Angel, and even though the recent Angel minis were quite underwhelming, the Spike one shots have been pretty good, and this issue bodes well for further spotlight comics. Peter David especially seems to have a good grasp of the characters.

Oh I'm sorry should have made it clearer - it's set before the events of the season five final episode. The one shots are all set before the end of season five.

Oh right cool. Is Gunn in it at any point?

Not this one, but I'm pretty sure after the Wesley spotlight, he will get his own.

If you like angel, I HIGHLY reccomend the spike one shots and this. They are very well written, and faithful to the shows

The two Angel minis are ok, not bad but not great either....old friends has quite a lot of Gunn in it (he survived the battle but has one eye). It's just weird seeing angel continue in comic form I guess.
