Aquaman - Podcast Serial - Pilot

Here's the deal:

I want to start a podcast serial much like the radio serials of yesteryear (inspired by the recent work of Pendant Productions, who do Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman serials). http://www.pendantaudio.com

I am looking for people to provide the voices for a pilot episode for an Aquaman serial King of the Seas, a political drama revolving around Arthur's discovery of his Altantean roots and his quest to restore order in Atlantis. All you need is a decent microphone (a cheap, $10 one or even a built-in one on your computer) and a program to record your lines on: (Audacity is free and is easy to use: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)

I am casting for three roles:

Arthur/Orin (Male, hero of the show)
Tom Curry (Male, Arthur's father)
Atula (Female, Atlantean exile)

I'll keep BB in mind (I love the character). Which character are you interested in playing for King of the Seas?

Essentially, I am going to produce this first short "pilot", and then based off of how it turns out and the support it gets, I will go ahead with the series.

Garth (a.k.a. Aqualad) will be down the road, so I am not in need of him right now. The same goes for both Black Manta and Ocean Master (a.k.a. Orm Curry). So for now, I just need Arthur/Orin, Tom, and Atula.

For those who want to audition for any of those parts, I will PM you the additional info. :up:

However, if you sound somewhat young, I'd love for you to try out for Atula (or even Mera, who will appear in the series if I do go ahead with the full-length show).

I would love the opportunity to audition for your serials. I actually have a BS in Speech/Theatre and used to do some Radio Dj work in college as well. Anything to get back performing. Those were the days!!

Hold the phone, scince when did arthurs BIOLOGICAL brother who was the king of atlanntas have the last name of the ADOPTIVE father of arthur who lives in the surface world (I could be thinking of Namor. I'm just confused)

Orm is Tom's biological son that he had with a human female. He is Arthur's half brother.

Major Update:

Aquaman: King of the Seas is officially a go. The series will be available at DCU Yesterday, Today, and Beyond (http://www.dcuytb.com) and will join Batman: The Ace of Detectives (http://www.batmanytb.com/viewpage.php?page_id=51) and Wonder Woman: Champion of Themyscira (http://www.wonderwomanytb.com/viewpage.php?page_id=1) forming a trifecta of DC Comics Podcast Serials.

The cast and staff have not been completed, and I'll post the latest information in this thread.
