I own the regular version of Sin City on DVD, and was wondering should I buy the collecter's edition? In other words how good are the special features.

Get the "Recut, Extended, Un-Rated" edition. The special features are too cool!

I love the "Sin Chronology" feature, and the two commentaries are awesome.

Hi
Does anyone know of any plans to release the re-cut version in the UK? Or should I just import it?

I need to just bite the bullet and pick up the re-cut and extended version...
This bare-bones version of Sin City I've got now just isn't going to do.

I held off on the bare bones release because I knew I'd have to pick up the Uncut version. But halfway between the two releases, Rodriguez came here to Austin and spoke at UT. Since I own nothing of his, I picked up the DVD and got him to sign it.
Thing is, he probably would've passed right by me. Everyone else there was getting him to sign their free programs, and I was one of the few who actually brought something of his to be signed. He was just about to leave, saw I had the DVD and said, "Cool, you've got the DVD."
He signed mine last and took off in his Hummer. :)

to be honest, i don't even care for the movie a great deal, but i have to admit that the Recut version's special features are phenomenal!

From the minute I heard that the Austin reaction audio track would be included, I ecstatic. I just think that's an amazing concept.
Everyone I told the new just didn't get it though. I got a lot of "That sucks," or "Why would you want that?" Oh well.

oddly enough, that feature was something that really excited me about the DVD before i bought it, but i've not yet taken the time to sit down and watch it with that track on!

It's so fantastic. Everyone in the theater is really into it. From as early as seeing the Troublemaker Studios intro, the crowd just goes nuts.
It also helped me hear a line I hadn't heard my first few viewings. As Marv is confonting Cardinal Roark, he says something that just made the audience roar with laughter. I rewound it and put on the subtitles: "I know it's pretty damn weird to eat people."
Never could make it out before.
