Ok, i started reading the new majestic series when it started. I instantly thought he was one of the coolest characters i've ever read. Now 17 months later, he's gone.
I'm gonna miss him:(
Why did his series end?
Now, there are no authority comics either.
WTF is happening to the Wildstorm universe?

Majestic is going to be in the new Wildcats title, which I believe is coming out this summer.

I guess you've been ignoring Captain Atom and the huge launch Wildstorm is going though at the moment ;D.

#17 couldn't have been the last issue, or Majestic would've officially had the worst ending ever. :o

All in need is number 9 and then i have then all.
There are like no wildstorm titles that really go PICK ME right now. i'm trying to cut back on the comics i'm getting, and majestic was one i was looking forward to keeping on my list.:(

I guess I'm confused.

Based on what I've read,... Majestic is dead.

Majestic's very much alive. The last issue just took him back to where he was at the start of the series.

I hope when all is said and done with the Wildstorm reboot that Majestic gets another series.

I'd prefer to see him alongside the Wildcats, myself. His best friend (Hadrian) leads the team and his ex-lover (Zealot) is a member, along with her current love (Grifter). Drama for all. :)

No he's alive and well, he's just going to be very, very confused in a few months.

I thought it was a fantastic ending to a fantastic series. I mean the whole idea of Majestic defeating Helspont by keeping him busy for two and a half months until the Ark ship arrived was genius to me. And then tying the last issue into the first issue was a great finishing touch. I hope they don't retcon anything from this series because I want to see Majestic's reactions to what has happened in his abscence and his new relationship with Savant.

I thought Grifter was dead, killed by Apollo in Captain Atom #8

The Question

Yeah. You know, I've noticed something. I loved the first two volumes of Authority, but I find if anyone besides Ellis or Millar writes the Authority characters, I really hate them.

I thought they seemed fine in CAA. Based on what I've read of them, they're supposed to be cold-hearted, pragmatic bastards. They certainly seemed like they were in CAA.

The Wildstorm universe is being relaunched. Grifter's confirmed as a member of the new Wildcats.

Very true. I'm just saying, it was only in the first two volumes of their series that I actually liked them. Ever since, they just seem like a group of homicidal fascists who share the same personality.

Oh, I thought you meant their characterization was off. I still haven't gotten around to reading any Authority stuff.

The Question

Well, in their status nas ultra conservative, borderline fascist vigilantes, they're the same. But now they don't really seem like interesting characters anymore. Just generic Punisher wannabes in the Justice League members' bodies.
