I think that they will start a "New" set of movies. I don't think that means they will ignore what came before but it wont be a big part. Of course they will deal with Xavior being alive, or at least I hope so. Plus we NEVER SAW CYCLOPS DIE. So who is to say he is acctually dead? Remember Jean says she can't remember.
