Hugh loves Wolverine, if he gets a good script for X4, there is no reason he wouldn't do it, because he isn't sick of the character, obviously he is doing the wolverine movie, because of that he might even take less of a main character in X4 if they where to say revolve the story around a new mutant like...gambit

Of course, this all depends on when filming starts, and whos busy at the time. I don't think we have much to fear, since Marvel will have their own production company by the time this movie would start. Im saying in the next four year, pending on the wolverine and magneto movies. I'm saying that given the success of the franchise, most of the smaller actors would come back. The only people I see having a hard time with are Jackman and Berry, but I think they can be persuaded, cept if Singer comes back I highly doubt Berry will. Jackman would probally have limited screentime, a more or less cameo for fights I would guess. Famke wouldn't be that hard to write back in if Sinister was thrown in with his cloning. And it would be easy to write Scott back in since we didn't see him die, gives writers alot of leeway. As far as Gambit goes, I believe it is imperitive, mainly to please the fans if anyone can't tell. My choice is Ryan Reynolds, just cause I think he's awesome and freakin hillarious, and a mutant Van Wilder is awesome in my book, but who knows who they will go with. Oh yea, and Alan Cumming could come back, as a cameo after taking the cure,lol, I think thats about it. But how in the hell would he do Loke(sp?) in Son of the Mask, and not nightcrawler, which alot of people became infatuated over. But they could recast, it wouldnt be hard to make them look the same given the amount of makeup, just the voice has to be near the same. And I vote for more naked Rebecca in X4!

This is an outlandish statement. I don't see Halle Berry getting involved again or James Marsden. Plus, it would be ABSOLUTE OVERKILL if they brought Jean back AGAIN! ...but i realize this is just fun speculation so to each his own.

and it is true that his character on Lost is similar to Gambit, in fact Holloway overall is similar to Gambit, looks like him and acts like him.. and the accent is down pact already. I heard that Gambit was suppose to be in X-3 but not only did Holloway turn them down due to loyallty to Lost but they didnt want to introduce Gambit like they did Collosus with a little scene, they felt a major character like him deserved more screen time and they couldnt fit him in. SO I expect to see Gambit in the next X-men movie.

I don't think Toad or Cyclops are really dead. Ray Park signed on for two movies. Why would they make him sign for two if they planned on killing him in the first one? He was considered for a part in X2, but they decided to right him out. Same thing with Sabertooth. It irritates me when people say that these two are dead.

As for Cyclops we didn't see anything. Anything could have happened between the time we saw him "dying." If he is truly dead then they would have shown him getting killed.

And I never said anything about Jean/Phoenix coming back. It would be pretty corny if she came back to life a second time.

They should give a real hard girl a part ie. Angelina Jolie !!! But I don't know who she could be. After seeing Aeon Flux, I've been really opposed to the idea that Charlize would play Emma. But now that I think about it, she might pull it off. She has that certain snob look going on, much like Elisha Cuthber and Melissa George. And that's what we need for her. Too bad Elisha is so young, and Melissa and Charlize too. A few more years under their belts and they just might have what it takes.

Oh, and btw, even if Emma isn't british, which I know, a british accent would in no way hurt her character. It would just elevate it on to a whole new level of beeyotchiness and awesomeness. :up:

since it was stated in the Wizard magazine April issue that the X-Kids film would have Rogue, Iceman, Kitty, Gambit, Jubilee, and Colossus, I'm pretty sure all of the actors who played them in the films will return. Jubilee will hopefully still be played by Kea Wong, and Gambit by someone yet to be determined.

I really think they should scrap the X-Kids film and just go with X4. They could still have those characters, but they don't need to be soooooooo young. The pre-existing characters have grown through the first 3 movies and should be portrayed as older and more mature than when they started. When they bring Gambit in, he should NOT be a teenager. His character would not work as one of the X-Kids. He shouldn't be as old as Storm or Cyclops, but he should be older than Iceman or Rogue.

The Movies have it at she was NOT herself & a completely different Personality. Sure if she came back she would have to live with what she did but it was not HER HER

Plus look at who her victims were:

1. Scott, who most likely isn't dead after all
2. Prof X, who tried the equivalent of a mind-rape and ticked her off (but survived)
3. Soldiers who attacked her from behind (without being provoked by any actions she took)
3. Mutants fighting on Magneto's side who already killed or hurt other people.

So when you look at her track record, not so bad. certainly not even close to devouring a star and destroying 5 billion people :)
