New Uniforms for X4 and beyond?

I like the unifroms from this trilogy alot, especially Storm's!!! But since the X-men change their uniforms a lot in the comics, should there be new uniforms for the new trilogy!!!

Anyway, perhaps some change, but nothing drastic. Perhaps update Beast's old costume to make it fit the current style. Perhaps if Storm's costume was sleeveless or had straps drapping over her shoulders...I dunno, I'm no designer. Perhaps Cyclops and Wolverine can get different piping and designs. Maybe give Phoenix a one piece uniform like Storm because in X3 the two piece thing was not flattering... at all. The younger students could have different uniforms, but once again, nothing drastic.

i think the mask would be cool if he where going on like a stelth mission or something like that, make it black as well, like here is one example of a mission he could go on

the mutant controll agency issues a new line of sentinals and storm wants logan to go incognito and see if he can dig something up

I love the way the uniforms are now. If you want new uniforms, than you could have any number of scenarios. You could have the uniforms customized even more, or you could have different uniforms for the danger room. Or for different weather conditions. Or just about anythin.

I'm very attached to the black uniforms. Here's a suggestion for those wanting a change though:

I'm looking at "Young X-Men" as "X4", so if you want a change, how about retiring the black uniforms to Danger Room or "field" uniforms, and comings up with variations that are dark blue, black, and yellow piping, similar to Storm's X3 'field uniform' in color, but design wise and material wise still like the X1-X3 outfits.

the one thing i liked about the x-men costumes is not every body wore the unifroms every body had there own unique costume the should have done that with the last trilogy but since there starting a new the should head towrds there comic orgins

I love their customes in this movies, what I would do, I would maybe change some details, I dunno which of you have seen Iceman's and Wolverine's outfits in the X3 video game. They are basically the same, but the patterns of the colored line are diferent, and more visible, I think that was icemans outfit in X2, I would say something like that, the same concept but maybe ad more color or different patterns to give each character more individuality, maybe instead of only one color lines in the outfit they can do 2, or something, I like this outfits but I think now that the team is well known, they can give them more individuality.

I think they should keep the black leather. Every character should add their own touch to them though. If Gambit came into the movies and got a costume, he should have his brown trench over a sleeveless uniform with dark magenta accents. IMO. That way they still have the team look, just with more originality.
Storm's costume is fine. She is the only one with a cape.

I don't think X4 will ever happen, but if it does, I don't expect any big changes in the uniforms...The colors may stay the same, but I kinda would expect a slight change in the stitching and piping colors. I think Iceman, Beast, and Storm might get some new outfits...

i say switch it up a little bit. make each X-Men that has a costume have there own individual style put into it to make it stand out a little more.

i say scrap the leather. every superhero dosent need to be in leather, black leather at that or Spandex lets try something new. im up for some different colored uniforms.

- I like the Rogue Green leather costume posted on here.
- i think Iceman should have some sort of blue costume.
- Wolverine should wear some sort of Black/Yellow get up. yall can pick the
material/style and which color needs to stand out between the 2.
- Angel should wear a blue outfit of some sort.
- Kitty i dont really know
- Storm should keep her black leather except add some stuff to it.
- Cyclops should get a new visor thats all i can think of when it comes to him.
- Jean i dont really know.
- Beast keep his.

Those are really good, I wish they had done that. Seeing those pics truly confirm that color could have worked, it could still be leather, colored leather is so much cooler.

If they go for the X-Academy type movie, I think it would be kinda rad to not use any costumes at all. put them in a situation where they don't have time to change into their costumes. That way...no weird leather costumes...:(

Leather makes them look like superheroes! It might sound dumb but I think is true. I don't know...if I think about leather suits the first thing that pops into my mind is Logan's uniform..:D

I think their suites are great just the way they are, and you're right leather does make them look like superheroes.

Ho hum. I love the movie costumes. Very team-like. A bit too militaristic for my tastes in terms of the X-Men though. But..

Honestly, I think I could be okay with different uniforms. More specific and comic-esque.

I hate the idea of seeing a yellow-spandex wolverine, and the like, but if you take a look at the spider-man, superman, fantastic four costumes, they all go with a more form fitting costume. Sure, spiderman wouldn't be spider-man without his, nor would superman.

I think with muted color schemes, the sort of uniform used in FF could work. Not anything too bright or whatever. Even if they would be used only in the danger room or something. They'd be simple, no shoulder things like wolverine has in the comics.

It could work. But either way, if its not broken, there's no real reason to fix it.

you can't have everyone wearing different stuff. they are a team.

i think the best idea so far is to add color. that pic of rogue in green is awesome! i like their costumes now because i feel like it sets them apart from the spandex costumes that are so common in superheroes. my only concern with adding color is it might make them seem like anyone else. but never the less, that pic is cool.

if the rumors are true that they will move onto making movies about the younger students after the spinoffs (:( i always liked the group we have now of cyclops, wolverine, storm, jean, rogue....etc.) it would be cool to "update" them. it would set them apart from the original trilogy :xmen:
