Did you like this movie?

I haven't seen it yet, but I am going to buy it on DVD. Thats is why I'd like to know your opinion about this movie.

David Lynch is a genius.
The acting is impossibly perfect.
It has more classic scenes and dialogue than 15 lesser movies.
It has some of the most chilling scenes ever.
It's hilarious.
The music is skull-crackingly good.
Buy it.
Buy it.

Excellent film, arguably Lynch's best, all the Wizard of OZ stuff is priceless. When you get the DVD pick up Lost Highway as well.

Wild At Heart is one of those nearly perfect movies

and besides, how many other movies feature Nicolas Cage slam dancing with karate kicks on a mosh pit and then breaking into an Elvis song played by a thrash metal band?

and yes, the Wizard of Oz references make it even better

Defoe's Boby Peru is one of the most memorable characters, his "**** me" scene is classic

and the snakeskin jacket... a symbol of individuality, and belief... in personal freedom

and one of the best aftersex conversations ever...EVER!!!!

and one of the best aftersex conversations ever...EVER!!!!Yes. I watched that as a teen in the theater and wanted to die knowing that I didn't have a relationship like theirs in that scene with anyone. I was with this chick who was mega-hot but I hated every single other thing about her and we could not talk at all. Dumped soon after, with visions of Laura Dern in my mind's eye.

i was really rathered enamoured by Bobby Peru's fate in the movie as well.

is it me? or is this Lynch's best movie ever?
I mean, all his work is remarkably astonishing, but this one is his most coherent and well crafted work

some might say it's Blue Velvet, others Lost Highway, others Elephant Man, but for me, this is is crowining achievement

As others have said with great detail - BUY IT. Classic movie.

Side story for this film. I went to see this movie in the theaters the summer before I started my Freshman year at college at a matinee. Anyhow, I had a habit of taking of my sneakers in movies when I go by myself and plascing them next to me in the aisle (this was a new theater and the floors weren't gross and I had on socks, etc...) Anyhow, about half way through this film, some guy comes walking down the aisle, bends down, snatches my kicks and runs towards the exit at the side of the screen (the old school exits that went straight outside - fire exit). I was so engrossed in the movie that I just let the guy run away with my sneakers (they were an old pair of slip on Vans - so I didn't care). The point, pretty much any other film I would have ran the guy down, tackled him and punched him in the face. I just couldn't leave my seat during this movie.

to reggie - I find that story, hard to believe. I'm sure David Lynch would like it. Also, SHOES OFF IN THE THEATER?...and STEALING SHOES?!? :down:confused:

I am dead serious. It was one the strangest things that has ever happened to me. I would put my feet up between the armrests of the seats in front of me, so they didn't touch the ground. Obviously, I have since stopped that practice due to that movie, but I am not lying. It was wierd.

you see, I also love Blue Velvet, great movie... sadly I haven't had the chance to see Straight Story yet

but Wild At Heart hits me on a more personal level than all his other movies

and Lynch is a guy who always knows how to hit you

Finally I've seen it.

I think it was very good movie, but not so perfect. Why? Because there were alo of strange, not so necessary and long scenes like the assassination of Johnny or crash accident with car.

But I loved cast! Cage and others made a great work with their characters.

Anyway, I will give it good 8.5 out of 10. Very good movie!

I've seen a lot of movies and know enough about cinematography. But I think I need always learn something new for me from movie industry.

it's one of the best movies I've seen in my life, it's very intense and shocking, uses a lot of cinamatographic resources in non conventional ways and some of the best editing I've had the joy of witnessing
