no.. I dont think a Venom spinoff would be good. He is known from Spiderman. He won't make it awa from Spiderman.

He's done in the comics for years and besides that he's a viable stand alone character.

the only spin offs they could get away with would be different versions...ie Spider-Man 2099 or Spider-Girl.... but I dont know about that,they probably would not have enough box office appeal
