Hi,
I recently acquired this Joker
http://i21.ebayimg.com/02/i/07/3a/c6/47_1.JPG
but later resold it. Apparently it is from 1990 and it is a varaint of some kind. Can anyone tell me if it is really rare, price range, and why it is the way it is (he looks like Ronald McDonald). thank you and I would appreciate it.

I'm sure I used to have that figure. I was only 3 when I got it, but I think it comes from Tim Burton's film. Sorry I can't help, but I'm sure someone else can.

I think it came out shortly after the one that I got, where he wore purple and looked more like the movie, but I wouldn't worry, I don't think it's worth much.

That particular mold was from the Kenner Dark Knight Collection in 1989. That particular repaint was released in 1997 as a Toys R Us exclusive 2 pack from the Batman Movie Collection. There were 3 different sets, this one, one with Catwoman and one with Riddler. They all came with a Batman figure. Here is a pic of the one you have:

Not very rare, they pop up on ebay.
