Who do you think is the corniest super hero/villian? There are a lot.

He is pretty lame. The side-kick to Aquaman, his costume is stupid, and his name is pretty stupid too.

Walrus is actually pretty funny. He has proportionate speed, strength, and agility of a walrus. He did manage to give Spider-Man a good laugh though.

Lets face it, most superhero characters are corny, but it's whats written about them that makes them stand out. If someone says Superman is corny, or Spider-Man, or Silver Surfer, I'd say, thats just your opinion. And looking at them, it's a pretty valid one. But when you've actually read the stuff they are in, the good stuff, well, that kinda changes your perspective on things. I can honestly say the name Silver Surfer, and think the character is cool. Dispite the fact that his name is Silver Surfer. I guess what i'm trying to say is, no character is really corny. It simply depends on what you've read about them.

Razorback! (I think that was his name) A fomer truck-driver, wannabe superhero who appeared in Spectacular Spider-Man. The man dressed up in a razorback hog suit! And since he was a trucker, he naturally used CB-speak. Boggled my mind!

Some of the pre crisis Legion rejects were as bad as you can get. For example there was Polecat whose powers shouldn't need explaining. There was another applicant whose power was that his ears could tune in radio signals from anywhere.

I have to disagree on this one, venom is not corny, he's vital to understanding peter. Venom is a classic jungian metaphor in that he is peter's ID. While peter is defined by the maxim "with great power comes great responsibility", venom is peter without responsibility venom is the reason that peter never kills his enemies. While he is not the reason in the sense of peter saw him and decided to be good he represents what happens when a superhero is not bound by restraints. As a simple villain venom would suck but as an-anti hero he shows this idea perfectly. He is essentially the punisher with spidey's powers ramped up a notch or five
