I know this is a topic thats posted alot, but I need some good Spider-Man reads. Theres so much Superman out there right now, i kinda miss spidey, and 616 is just not spidey right now. I read ultimate and ive also read
-spider-man blue
-kraven's last hunt
-death of gwen and captain stacy
-clone saga
-first 100 issues
-death of jean dewolfe
-first encounter with venom
-Son of the goblin

Are there any other great TPBs or back issues to check out, even novels, I'm desperate. Any help would be appreciated

I loved the Origin of Hobgoblin. If you like the Essential line you can get them in color. It's called the Marvel Masterworks line. They were available around 15 years ago but in the past four or five years they have reprinted them in paperback and hardcover.

I think it's:
ASM #135 & 136- the origin issues, first GG2
ASM #312- GG2 vs. Hobgoblin
Spectacular Spider-Man #194- I'm not so sure what this one's about
SSM #200- dies

I wish OotH was still in print.
As do I. I really want to read the issues in color without paying a ton of money for the issues.
