He's both...When traveling to other countries, as well as Japan, he trained himself in all forms of martial arts. As a samurai, he's highly skilled when armed with a katana.

Ogun was his mentor, when becoming a ninja. Afterward, Wolverine spent five years in the ninja village known as Jasmine Falls. Training with Bando Suboro.

He can also use all types of weapons, whether they're modern or traditional.

Yea, maybe 1 scene would be cool to show off Wolverine's fighting skills but no more than that IMO. We get enough ninjas in New Avengers. I also wanna see Wolverine do something like this but some people might view it as copying the Hulk movie..

If Wolvie goes up against Ninja's in this movie, they should definitely be the Hand, and if the Hand is in the movie they should really have Shingin in it because that's a badass storyline.
