The scene on the train where he's looking at the picture of New York, really concentrating, and then is teleported to the Big Apple... cool scene I thought.
Figures, that they had to throw atleast one comic book geek into the show though.

Wow that makes him more powerful than Nightcrawler.

I think his teleportation has to do with speeding up time or reversing it more than, BAMF he's there.
That's just what I got from the trailer.

If you watch the trailer, pay attention to the clock behind him. He was speedin' up time about 5/6 hours to get to the streets of New York. He didn't teleport there. -_-``

I thought it was really funny when he explained the theory of space time to his friend based on him reading "Days of future Past" from the pages of X-Men.

Just finished watching the screener. Hiro is instantly my favorite character. I appreciate that he's the only one who really understands his powers, thereby leaving room for him to develop them further.

He's like the only one of the group who actually wants to have fun with his powers. I mean everyone else sees it as a burden or all messed up to understand the gift. The only issue is wtf is gonna understand him?
Also someone in another thread complained that the characters are too far apart and wouldnt be able to find their way to each other. The teleporter just went to new york and 2 sets of the heroes are already connected.

How far into the future do you think Hiro traveled from to talk to Peter at the end of Episode 4?
He now:
has mastered English
sports a cool new look
carries a samurai sword?!
has wicked kick-your-a$$ long hair
Could all of this happen in just 5 weeks?

exactly. it may be five weeks for us, but it could've been 5 years for him.

Something I would like to see, in a future episode maybe a few seasons from now, Hiro making mention of how he must remember to travel back to give the message to Peter, completeing the time loop.
And why does Hiro keep calling instead of getting Ando to call, since his english is better?

without the character of Hiro the show would be way too slow and melodramatic to be worth watching. We need his comedy relief and I think that it's great that they are showing that Hiro is not going to be just a funny, loveable goofball with powers. He will become a force to be reckoned with.

it'd be funny to have future hiro say one thing funny
i dont want him to lose his sense of humor
i know the word is in sire need and what not, bu...i dunno, he's so funny but i also want sword hiro
think we'll ever see that hiro ? i mean he seems to be a product of the bad future, maybe with all these new events he'll stay a geek forever

I've read somewhere, IIRC, that FutuHiro IS from five years ahead of the future.

I don't think his friend Ando is going to survive this season, I think Ando will sacrifice himself to save someone else, possible Hiro. Hiro said "you don't have to have powers to be a hero." Ando seamed to agree. I hope he doesn't die though. Go Ando!

He should just speak perfect English in the next episode. If people wonder why, have him say he stopped time and learned English before he restarted it. :)
Mostly, I'm just bored of reading subtitles. :(

This thread needs a title cange, he's not exactly a teleporter.
Here's my cop-out theory of the week, Hiro travelled to past, he hooks-up with "superwaitress" and she uses her power to give him an english crash course and that's the end of subtitles for Hiro when he meets with other english speaking heroes.:woot:
