In all honesty, it's pretty dark; I had to print it out just to be able to get a better look at it, but it does look like the eye is supposed to be coming from the right eye of the Autobot insignia, hence the hint of a 'scarred eyebrow' about it.

That poster is suprisingly good. The design for the eye looks great. Sooooooo much better than a plain solid eye. I'm geeked for the teaser, but still extremely hesitant about Bay. I just pray to God he holds back on his shots. I don't if I can stand to see too many spins, sweeps, and the editing needs to be controlled. B**chin aside, I'm really excited now.

1) Give it the necessary running time for the characters to get the right developement and to make the story flow with the right pacing,(not rushed).

Bay then showed me a rough design for the TRANSFORMERS teaser poster. It was a robotic eye overlooking planet Earth, kind of peeking over the curvature of the globe. The eye was in a brow the shape of a right triangle and looked very mechanical, iris and all. The tagline was "Their War. Our World."

I like the tagline and the poster was very polished, but it reminded me a little too much of the ID4 poster. And the font for TRANSFORMERS at the bottom of the poster looked like ROBOCOP's font, not enough like the the TRANSFORMERS font.

As for people not liking the font....what's wrong with you? It's almost exactly like the original Transformers logo font, minus the longer F and T. Besides that, it IS exactly like the old logo. There's just no pleasing some people I guess. While some want it to be exactly like the old school, others want it to be something different. No wonder directors stay offline.

As far as I'm concerned, the eye in the teaser poster still doesn't look like it's the Autobot symbol; more like it's being manipulated to fit the autobot symbol. well, since the autobot logo doesn't have an eye, it's OBVIOUSLY a manipulated autobot logo. the point is, however, that it's just an autobot logo nonetheless.

Speculating who the eyeball belongs to, if anyone, is like trying to speculate who's strand of black hair you just found in the middle of Tokyo.

As far as I'm concerned, the eye in the teaser poster still doesn't look like it's the Autobot symbol; more like it's being manipulated to fit the autobot symbol. Well to fans, it does matter who's eye it could be. It could give a hint about that certain character or what might happen with one of the Factions.
They aren't just robots...they are fan-favorite characters.
