In retrospect I should have added The Addams Family, although I'd argue that it's based on the TV show more than the comic strip.

I think the movies actually follow the strip closer than the series. Although, I could be wrong.

Damn Popeye was pretty good, and all, but Dick Tracy was rad also. Tough one.

Dick Tracy is such an amazing movie. In many ways, it paved the way for Sin City. It also has one of the best casts of any movie. Pacino as Big Boy was brilliant.
