They gotta have Yuriko and Logan romantically involved in this film. Anyone else agree?

She was still "the girl who has a romantic encounter with the hero". These movies gotta have a love interest to bring in the female audience.

I think it would be cool for them to have a relationship- I don't follow the comics or anything, but that could add a lot. Either way, a relationship would be cool even if not Yuriko... it's really tragic to have a character that watches every woman he's ever loved die when he knows his death is never approaching.

Silver Fox or Yuriko WILL be in the movie... I prefer they start out like a Batman Begins with Logans brief stint in Japan just like Bruce Wayne training for the league of shadows in the Himalayas or whatever... then go to the main story of Team X/ Weapons X program...

in the cartoon though, he has a relationship with yuriko which could make for an interesting story too.

Yes she is. Ray Park and Tyler Mane are signed for 2 more as well. It's up to FOX if they use the option.

No Toad in Wolverine's movie. As for Sabretooth...I think a recast for a better actor is needed if Sabretooth is going to be a main villian.

I agree about Toad. They could easily have him in the Magneto movie. Recast Sabretooth? It's been 6 years since X-Men, Tyler Mane has done a few projects here and there incl Troy.Maybe he's got the acting chops?

Tyler Mane can act. The problem was the sabretooth in the X1 didn't really looked and act like his comic counterpart. He looked like some kinda Troll.

And let's hope that they stay away from using the weapon X saga as the main storyline since Wolverine was pretty much a zombie in it.

Now that the adamantium storylines changed, they dont really need to include yuriko anymore. She was forced into the process in X2 so its not like she has a reason to go after him before those events take place

I would love Yuriko in the films. I really would like Mariko though, The whole Shingin/Hand/Mariko mini was my favorite Wolverine movie anyways. I actually hoped that would be the story for the movie, but it'll prbly never happen.

I'd rather Logan was romantically involved with Mariko. The Yuriko thing only happened in the cartoon, and Logan damn-near married Mariko in the comics.

i hope ziyi zhang gets cast in wolverine movie.

She has that classic asian beauty look.

I hope the recast Hu and Mane... she did a decent job... Zhang would make a good Mariko but I doubt that character will have a large role if any

Hu and Mane were both given piss poor material to work with(alot of that in the X films), and considering, they did pretty well.

Her death in X2 is the most powerful moment in Singer's films.

I like Kelly Hu and think a relationship would work, so I hope to see that (plus, that would fit in really well with X2... make her death even more tragic than it was in the film).

And I agree that Ziyi Zhang is a beautiful actress- she has a very unique look. Plus, she's starting to show some amazing talent.
