i think David O Russell is a terrific writer/director, a tab quirky for an xmen movie though, because his movies that are good are I heart huckabees, Spanking the monkey, and Three Kings, all off beat comedy movies, so it is kind of a bizzare choice, but i like him as a writer director so i hope he does good

as much as you think gambit has a fan base because youre part of it, he has an even bigger hater base, not only has emma reached some sort of status starting with gen x, shes gone on to be in other popular titles in new and astonishing x-men and her own mini series, she actually has a very complex and real personality whether it makes you hate her or love her, you cant deny her that, gambit is just a cyclops, wolverine re-hash, which is exactly why he was never in any of the movies, and youre all forgeting that emma has been in a movie even before wolverine or any of the x-men youve seen in the movies today, well except jubes, they were both in a gen x movie, i do agree to some degree, becuase she was never introduced it will be harder to sell, but ill go see it even if it sucks:(

I agree with you 3Kings wasn't a bad movie but IMO it wasn't a great movie either. The Rush Hour movies were actually rather entertaining but I don't think they were credential enough for Brett to have tackled X3 given the expectations many of us held for it after the first two as well as the history the franchise has had with Fox.

Im a fan and I wasnt dissapointed...people just need to realize that the x-men are people too meaning that they can die...it would be soo unreal if they didnt die......That's what one of my friends said before he saw X3 "can they die"-I said yes.... and he was happy because it makes it soo much more real..Im not crying because I dont know if Pyro is alive or not... and he is my fav. character!!! the movies have never followed the comics from X-men 1 and X3 followed thecomics more than X1 and X2..there was, Storm flying, The Bridge scene, the Danger Room, Fastball Special, the cure, ..I mean come on at least it focused on the cure!! did anyone know who blade was? his character is even more obscure than emmas and at least emma has a team backround to fall back on, blade was all on his own and he made it, the problem here is how these writers try to protray women, emma is not the problem, they could have her in her early years as the white queen being pure evil, showing the death of the original hellfire club at the hands of her and sebastion and possibly facing the x-men a few times, with younger actors playing their rolls, and with different costumes, and all her hardship, her fallen students, you can even bring in the sentinals here, and then maybe they could make history itself, by exploring how she left, im sure it wouldnt be easy to leave the hellfire, they could show them trying to kill her only for her at the end scene showing up at the x-mansion gate with louis vuitton luggage

where did you hear that? im not sure ive heard of about that, anyway i hope she gets a big role somewhere, shes pretty much the only x-woman right now that has a personality, shes arguably the most popular x-woman in current titles, so i think she deserves some credit
