That's good news. Except the part about Sony doing it. Sony's version was ok...i certainly like the way Spidey moved and fought, but it didnt really follow the comics too much.

Avi can be a real "boob" sometimes...Bruce Timm just stopped working on the ADCU for Warner...how cool would it have been to get HIM to start a brand new continuity driven show for Marvel/Spider-Man...not unlike what he did when he started on Batman: The Animated Series...?

ARAD: We’ve got a new FANTASTIC FOUR cartoon. We’ve got a new WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN cartoon; it’s going to be based on the comics. We’re going to do another Sony SPIDER-MAN cartoon. We are probably going to do an IRON MAN cartoon after the movie.

Im surprised no one has put together a superhero channel yet...with all the old tv series, cartoons, and movies (past and present) available to use....

I think i remember reading that Wizard Entetainment was considering it at one time, but backed out at the last minute.

Yea, I hear you. I really hated the music on the MTV show. The animation was kind of neat, but I still prefer the traditional animation.:up:

Spidey needs a cartoon like the Batman animated series.

The 90's cartoon was good, but the later seasons were not very good. And the Kingpin was waaaaaaaaaaay over used. Nearly every villain was mixed up with him.
