:) I saw The Omen last night, and SPOILERS the scene where the nanny leaps on Liev's back shocked me about a foot into the air. Weird thing is, I've seen the original repeatedly and was waiting for it to happen. Can't remember the last time a film made me jump. It was awesome.

Hmm, I have to say The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(Remake).
The scene where Jessica Biel goes to the meat house and literally, out of nowhere, Leatherface practically lands on top of her.
I jumped out of my seat during that moment.
I'd say about 2 or 3 years ago actually.

I have never screamed.
But last time when I jumped, was when I was watching Cars (that moment with jumping King).
It was amazing falling.

i put a crink in my neck, i jumped so hard when watching the boogyman. that part shen the crow crashes into his windsheild.
it was the dumbest part to jump at (actually, that whole movie was dumb) but i don't think i've ever jumped so hard... i actually hurt myself.

Ithought it was pretty funny when people - myself included - jumped out of that scene in Spider-Man where Norman wakes up on the floor and has a flashback. Somebody actually said something like, "canīt believe I got a scare in a Spider-Man movie"!

I think there was a scene in the new Omen movie as well, but it wasn't a huge start. It's rare, lately.

That, as a whole, really didn't make me jump much. But I'm sure if I was at the party I'd be feeling a lot differently. ;)
Another one;
In the original Amityville Horror, the "Get Out" scene with the priest made me uneasy at first, then when the demonic voice yells "GET OUT!", imagine being 10 years old watching it in the dark and hearing that.
The Hills Have Eyes remake was pretty damn wicked. Especially when the mutant that had an axe busted through the window. That scene made me jump too.

Ha, I was just about to mention this scene. I thought it was just me that had that experience. Raimi's horror roots definitely show up both Spider-man movies every now and then.

The scene in 'Eight Below'...SPOILER BELOW
When one of the dogs is approaching a dead whale. There's this hole in it's side...the camera zooms in...and a leopard seal jumps out of the hole. Made me jump back in my seat. Did not expect that in a PG Disney flick.

yup...
there were two other scenes in there hat made me jump....the car crash....and the guy during the interogation(which was ruined in the commercials)
I think it was in The Descent. But I think I only screamed (many times) not jumped. There were some scenes that didn't scare me but I screamed 'cause the whole theater screamed so I got frightened of them.
I jumped of joy when I was watching Equilibrium for the first time. :) (It was in friend's living room, not theater.)

Nothing's really made me jump recently, maybe cause I watch more movies on DVD? Or that there haven't been any really good scare moments.
