This is based on the superman TAS and Superman returns superman.

Why isn't superman's suit permamently lead lined?
He could have transparent gloves that are lead laced too. it could be similar to batman's armour plating, but for lead.

any ideas for improving his suit fabric to allow him to operate unimpeded?
-kyptonian anti-corrosion nanotechnology?
-lead or the densest carbon-base in that periodic table list that's maybe more atomically powerful than lead, as a suit lined body armour (clark did it in smallville!!)

benefits, it would keep him unaffected all the time, almost. even if scratched. i mean in the superman returns movie he wouldn't have to be half dead...although it did give him a challenge, that it did.

He could carry a little microscopic gadget, similar to james bond or spiderman...that triggers spraying of acid particles, so that he could dissolve kryptonite himself , while half shielding himself with his suit and some endurance, for one on one confrontations.

I know kryptonite shown usually at his face. but with all of his suit lead lined, (so that it is also protected by his aura first, and then the lead armour), you cannot get both in unless you are really good, coz even kryptonite dissolves in the acid.

So how else can his suit be improved?

Kryptonite naturally negates Superman's aura, so the suit wouldn't be protected by it.

Instead of acid, Superman could just break it down with heat vision.

IMO, introducing some fancy high-tech lead suit to be worn regularly is more trouble than it's worth. A better solution to the kryptonite problem is simply for the writers to stop relying on it to create a physical threat.

Superman doesnt get attacked enough with the green stuff to warrent a lead lined suit. Usually its all that energy and magic based attacks that screw him over. No supermans suit is fine a way it is. Though i might lose the cape since i mean it would suck to lose a fight because your cape got pulled.

^ haha like in The Incredibles? I don't think something like that would happen to Supes, it would just tear off since it isn't as invulnerable as the suit itself. And plus, Superman and Capes go hand in hand!

uh huh....
but I was thinking along the lines of either Acid or Kryptonite.

Like in the STAS episodes 'World's Finest', the acid wouldn't have dissolved the suit if it were densely lined, coz weight wouldn't be a problem for supes (like clark did in smallville against the kryponite bullet) rather than jutting out so far right? then a kryptonite follow up, would have been useless. Then instead of Batman needing to pour HCL acid on the kryponite, supes could have his own 'weapon' like BAt's grappel hook, that sprays corrosive acid to dissolve the kryptonite, before it causes him harm right?

either, you throw kryptonite at him, which the lead lined suit negates, then acid follows behind, which shouldn't affect him, but at the same time dissolve the kryptonite? I mean...if Supes is invulnerable to acid, and kryptonite is vulnerable to acid, lead is invulnerable to kryptonite and superman is vulnerable to kryptonite, then wouldn't acid and lead together then work to assist superman in beating kryptonite? wouldn't some thing like that work? ur opinions?

Am I the only one who can't make heads or tails of the post above?
