I was looking at the schedule for the Mavericks and they have some interesting games ahead of them.
Tomorrow: @Toronto
Jan 16: Houston
January 18: Los Angeles(Lakers)
January 21: Miami(The game that will definitely be a dogfight. Dallas was screwed over by the officials and you know they're looking for revenge on the 21st.)
January 23: @ Orlando
January 25: @ Chicago
January 27: Sacramento
Very interesting line up and I believe the toughest one will be Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Miami. All of those games will be very tough and exciting more than likely.
But yes, how about them Mavs? Seems like the commentators and the opposing fans don't like talking about them, especially since they're on a winning streak and might end up with the best record in the West. I also read that Dirk rolled his ankle last night.
They'll beat Toronto, beat Houston, a toughie vs. the Lakers (although at home), beat Miami, beat Orlando, the Chicago one will be tough, beat Sacramento.
Is Dirk going to be out for any games or was it just a small injury?

He's expected to play tomorrow. But he returned last night after rolling it during the game and carried the Mavs to victory.
But seriously, he continues rolling his ankle and I'm surprised/thankful that it hasn't broke. Guess it's hard to not roll it with all those feet on the floor when going for a rebound.
I hope in the game against Houston, Dirk and T-Mac have another classic shootout with both reaching 50 points again.
That's a good possibility.
My poor Pistons are reeling... Chauncey's absence is being shown BIG TIME.

Here's what I don't understand about the Magic game last night:
Okay, they're down 2. Dwight Howard is on the line with a chance to tie. He misses both free throws. Kobe gets the rebound. There are about 40 seconds left at this point.
SO WHY THE BLOODY HELL DID THEY WAIT UNTIL 20 SECONDS LEFT TO FOUL ANYONE?!?! :cmad:
And how does Darko blow a point-blank tip-in. If he made that, the game would have been tied and Dwight wouldn't have even been at the line. :cmad:
I'm glad we gave him to you :o:up:

Milicic is the new Bowie. :csad:
Mister J
01-13-2007, 11:52 AM
I actually though Darko was going to be a player. A big man was a good outside shot and passing skills. Though he was a good rebounder at the international level, I thought'd he have to adjust to the physicality of the NBA, but I didn't see anything that would make him a bust.
Going to Detroit was a bad break for him, because LB doesn't play rookies. Him languishing away at the end of the bench and essentially being a characticure didn't help anything. He's been modest in Orlando, but even with improvement, I don't see him, reaching the level to justify where he was taken.
Yeah, Larry hated rookies, well, at least playing them at the start.
Flip tried to help Darko, but they ended up trading him.
Mister J

Milicic is the new Bowie. :csad:
Seems so. Bowie was actually productive and a viable big man. The problem was he we went ahead of that Jordan guy and the disparity was just too great. He did have a fair amount of injuries to deal with, while Darko just seems to suck.

Don't worry by the time you the playoffs come around Webber will have been well acustomed to the Triangle. In my opinion it will come down to the Suns, & Lakers in the west. Sadly the east is as open as the whore Blind_Fury slept with last night.

Ben Urich
01-13-2007, 07:35 PM
He has no real incentive to sign with anyone else...
I mean, he could sign with the Lakers, but the west is (obviously) much more talented than the east...
If he goes to the Pistons, he's guaranteed a trip to AT LEAST the conference finals. Guaranteed.
Also, he'd have to convince Luke Walton to give up #4...
Mister J
01-13-2007, 07:41 PM
Yeah, even when he mentioned Miami, I still didn't really care. He'll be a decent pickup, but it's not going to put a team over the top or give them some unbeatable edge. When has Webber ever made a real impact or shown up in the clutch? Between his history of disappearing in the crunch, being a complainer and his whole 'I want to go to a contender but I want to start' speak, I kinda just shrug my shoulders. Last time I saw Macy have help push a team towards title contention, Michigan was playing Kentucky in the 93 Final Four ...and we know how that eventually turned out. :woot:

I sure hope the Pistons get Chris Webber. Seriously.
I honestly think this could help propel the Pistons once again. Look what happened when the got Rasheed. Went on a monster streak, tied club win streak, and won the NBA Finals, upsetting a HEAVILY favored Lakers team. Some people thought he'd destroy the team.
But the key here is Joe Dumars. I believe he will straighten Chris up, and he can handle him. Flip didn't handle Ben too well, but he has another chance here with Webber.
I honestly hope the Pistons sign him. They are the frontrunner at the moment, and can offer him a lot: $$, many minutes, and an opportunity to regain some lost respect from his hometown area. There are still some bitter Michigan fans, mind you.
I believe that if the Pistons sign Chris Webber, this may give them the spark to make another run at a title.

It's Chris Webber. It's looks very much like he'll be a Piston, but ...it's Chris Webber.
Webber's never been clutch (especially not when Sacramento was making their annual pilgrimage to get thumped by the Lakers in May). This is a guy who averages 20/10 over 14 years and he won't get into the Hall unless he buys a ticket. Great passer, nice outside touch for a big man, but he's giving you nothing in terms of defense or intangibles. If the Pistons make a run at the title, it'll be the usual suspects doing the heavy lifting. Webber may help, but he'll mostly be along for the ride.
People thought Sheed's temperament would destroy the team, but there was never a question about his on-court effectiveness and versatility. Wallace was a difference maker and that was noted. Macy's not the same type of impact player. Sheed was bringing way more to the table.

Spurs lose to the Bulls, 99-87.
Damn games were sooo early today.
2006-07 Power Rankings: Week 11
RANK (LAST WK) TEAM REC. COMMENT
1 (1) Mavericks 31-8 As if a 31-4 record since that 0-4 start isn't gaudy enough, check this out: Dirk is shooting .525 and averaging 30.8 ppg since switching back to the leather ball.
2 (2) Suns 28-8 What's wilder? Suns going 27-3 since that 1-5 start? Or Suns establishing a 64-18 pace and still trailing Mavs by 1 ½ games for the league's best record?
3 (5) Rockets 25-13 OK, OK. If you're going to exclude the game in which Yao played just six minutes and got hurt, Rockets have only two Ls (in 11 games) without him, not three.
4 (7) Spurs 27-11 Don't waste your time. You can't convince me that Spurs' best week since November, including a total shutdown of Wiz, wasn't a direct response to their drop here to No. 7.
5 (4) Lakers 24-13 Did they get too much credit? After halting Mavs' 13-game win streak minus Odom and Kwame, how did Lakes go to Memphis and Houston and lose by 10 and 25?
6 (6) Cavaliers 23-13 Gruesome as Phoenix was, Cavs are thanking Mr. Schedule Maker. They'll wind up playing five of the seven West teams with losing records on this seven-game trip.
7 (3) Jazz 24-13 Make that 12-12 since its 12-1 start and three 50-point games surrendered: Redd, Kobe and now Ray Allen. Hence Utah finally loses its longstanding top-five status.
8 (11) Timberwolves 19-16 New year, new lease on life for KG? With Blount and Foye surging, too, Wolves are 6-1 in 2007 and would have been 7-0 if not for that one-point home L to Clips.
9 (20) Wizards 20-16 Don't really want to believe there's a connection, but the numbers make you wonder: Arenas is shooting .310 from the floor (23 for 74) since his birthday extravaganza.
10 (12) Pacers 20-17 The good news: Pacers are unbeaten in '07 except when they play Dallas. The bad news: Pacers had chances to beat mighty Mavs twice and imploded both times.
11 (9) Bulls 21-17 When does a 111-66 win feel empty? When A) you're playing Memphis and B) you've lost five of the previous six games, having blown big leads in four of them.
12 (10) Pistons 21-14 Pistons have to wait until Tuesday before we see any new blood on the roster, but this already looks official: Chauncey is basically irreplaceable. Agreed?
13 (13) Magic 22-16 Road losses to Lakers, Suns showed young Magic can play with top teams. The trouble is beating them: Orlando has one win over a winning team since its 13-4 start.
14 (20) Heat 17-19 Maybe Heat are trying their hardest to convince Riley to rush back from hip surgery . . . or maybe this 4-1 trip simply proves they feel liberated by Riles' absence.
15 (16) Raptors 17-21 Raps are a modest 4-3 since Bosh's return. But they've done the Atlantic proud this month -- no easy trick, remember -- with home near-misses against Suns and Mavs.
16 (17) Nuggets 18-17 How much is Melo missed? In this favorable stretch of schedule, Nuggets are just 4-8 with Iverson. They might pay for it at season's end, with 13 of final 18 on the road.
17 (14) Warriors 18-20 Warriors haven't slipped more than two games below .500 all season. But that might be coming soon judging by their last three games . . . losses by 23, 15 and 20.
18 (21) Clippers 17-20 The lackluster play has lasted so long that you have to wonder: Do Clips have to make a trade so everyone on the team will stop waiting for one?
19 (22) Nets 16-20 After their 5-2 rebound, Nets play 11 of their next 15 on the road. Yet you suspect they won't mind the part about getting some distance from the NYC tabloid circus.
20 (15) Bucks 16-20 With Redd, Villanueva, Simmons and now Mo Williams all sidelined by injury, you could call them Hornets East. Which isn't what Bucks were going for, obviously.
21 (26) Bobcats 12-23 Now that we finally know whose team this is -- Matt Carroll's, apparently -- Carroll can't miss and Bobs have won 5 of 7, beating Lakers/Pacers/Pistons along the way.
22 (28) Hornets 14-22 First it was a blizzard of season-wrecking injuries, then an actual blizzard. The poor denizens of OKC haven't exactly been rewarded for their fervent Hornets support.
23 (19) Knicks 16-22 It was a short stay in the teens, true, but Knicks left us no choice by responding to our praise by giving up 126 at home in a heavy loss to banged-up Bobcats.
24 (23) Trail Blazers 15-23 Maybe Blazers illustrate Sacramento's struggles better than anyone. Portland's only two wins in 2007? Home and home against Kings. Otherwise? Blazers are 0-6.
25 (24) SuperSonics 14-25 As if the race for All-Star spots wasn't deep enough, Ray Allen rings up 54 to A) overshadow a reborn Collison and B) put one more name in the West hopper.
26 (18) Kings 14-20 Yikes. Remember when Arco Arena scared people? Now it's Kings themselves who look skittish: 1-4 at home in 2007 and 10-11 overall with four straight Arco defeats.
27 (27) 76ers 10-27 Sixers have played a league-low 13 games at home. Of course, given what the roster looks like these days, you don't hear many Philly folks pining for them.
28 (29) Hawks 11-23 When someone reminds you that Phoenix gets Atlanta's No. 1 pick unless Hawks finish in the lottery's top three, this 3-14 slide becomes three times as troubling.
29 (30) Grizzlies 9-29 Life is naturally better with Gasol, but not exactly worlds better. Grizz went 5-17 without him and are just 4-12 with the Spaniard back from his foot injury.
30 (25) Celtics 12-24 We're running out of things to say about woebegone Celts, probably because they're running out of players and starting four guys who didn't play college ball.

I think Riley finally got to him by challenging his pride. That body fat nonsense was paper thin and if he and Posey wanted to challenge it through the Union, I'm fairly certain they would have won. Whatever, as long as it gets everybody on the same page.
Hate to take the L, but I gotta dap yall up. Everybody was stepping up when needed and the Lakes took it.
On the bright side, I am hoping when Miami takes the court on Thursday, back at the Triple A, we might have a different starter at center. :trans:

Artest wears 93 now. He wore, ****... I think he was 91 when he was in Indiana. He changes his number everywhere. 5 in Chicago; 5, 15, 23, 91 (I think?) in Indy; and now 93 in Sacramento.
Radmanovic changes, too. 77 in Seattle, 7 with the Clippers, and now 10 with the Lakers. Which one is not like the others? You get one guess. :o
EDIT: ****, that 73 Rodman jersey is sick. It might even outdo Scot Pollard's 62:
It's an odd number
Both the digits in it are odd.

Fun Question:
Why did Rodman Choose No. 91? Was it because:
A. It was the first two numbers of the number for Emergency?
B. If you add 9+1 they equal his number on the Spurs?

Some are saying the deal was made to make Jermaine O'Neal happier. He and Al Harrington had to share the low-post scorer role. Now, it's all O'Neal. I don't really buy that, especially since the only reason the Pacers re-acquired Harrington is because O'Neal asked them to.
Stephen Jackson isn't ever going to do anything, though. He's too inconsistent. Plus, the Warriors are already set at the 2 with Baron Davis and Jason Richardson. I doubt Jackson will see enough playing time to make him happy.

I was watching PTI when they talked about the trade. They said that trade could have happend because of the way the Hoosiers don't like the way Jackson & Harrington conducted themselves. From Bill Simmons:
In a related story, the Suns are 26-2 in their last 28 games. Here were their two losses:
Dec. 22: They lose to the Wizards in OT (144-139) in a game that Arenas tied with a 3-point play in regulation, then Nash missed a wide-open 3 that could have ended it.
Dec. 28: They lose in Dallas by two (101-99) when Nowitzki made a jumper with 0.1 seconds left.
With two reasonable breaks (Nash making the 3-pointer, Nowitzki missing the jumper), the Suns could be working on a 28-game winning streak right now. I've mentioned that to three people over the last 48 hours and all of them said the same thing: "Wait a second ... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??????"
It's true. You can look it up.

It doesn't matter who comes out of the East. Any of the top 5 teams in the West - alphabetically: Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix, San Antonio - and potentially the 6th (Utah) would take any East team to school. They'd win in 5. Simple.
Right now, though, Detroit should be the favorite. Cleveland is on top right now, but there's only so much one LeBron can do. Orlando and Chicago are still a year or so off. The only team that can really challenge Detroit is Washington.

thing about winning streaks is
you dont have to play the same team twice...
in SERIES..the ball slows down you HAVE TO PLAY SOME SEMBLANCE OF DEFENSE..the right coach will make the RIGHT ADJUSTMENTS..we had them on the ropes last year and we weren NEARLY as deep as this year..
we basically had a 6 man rotation last year...
P.s. man i didnt know how big the win was last night...
people are wooing us everywhere also we are now currently only a HALF GAME back of the THIRD spot in the west:wow:

From the San Francisco Chronicle:
Dunleavy was a mistake from the start.
"He can't get his own shots," a very knowledgeable NBA person told me when the Warriors drafted Dunleavy with the No. 3 overall pick. "He might become an effective role player on a good team, but he's not going to carry your franchise."
And he didn't. It was the other way around.
He is a shooting forward who doesn't shoot that well.
"An NBA shooter usually misses long or short," another NBA insider told me. "Dunleavy misses left and right."
(As reader Richard Bittner noted, "He has to be the only coach's son in the history of basketball who can't shoot.")

From the Daily Dime:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dailydime-070118
And before we get to a dissection of Webber's game, including the flat arc on his jumper, his slow feet on defense and the absence of anything remotely resembling a sprint from a pair of legs that had been resting for nearly a month, we're going to change the subject to what appears to be a growing note of discord and disharmony -- aw, heck, let's just call it hate -- between Rasheed Wallace and coach Flip Saunders.
At one point late in the third quarter during a timeout, nearly everyone on the Pistons' bench turned and stared at Sheed as he prematurely broke from the huddle and walked to the scorers' table to await the resumption of play.
Now Wallace has been doing this for years, but on this occasion, judging from the looks on the Pistons' faces, there was more to it. Webber even walked over and said something to Wallace, who replied with a shake of the head and the type of disgusted look you get from someone who doesn't want to be told to calm down or to make peace.
And when the fourth quarter came, Wallace was once again unable to control himself, drawing a technical foul with five minutes remaining for continuing to argue a foul call, ultimately earning himself a seat on the bench for the final 2:27 as Saunders went with a closing lineup of Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess, Carlos Delfino, Lindsey Hunter and Tayshaun Prince. That move left a gaping hole in the Pistons' interior defense, and the Jazz exploited it by scoring three of their final four buckets in the paint (where they scored 58 points) to stay ahead the rest of the way.
"You know, we've got to be smarter. We've got a lot of games that we've given points away with technical fouls down the stretch, and we've got to bite our lip. I'd say in most games where we've gotten technical fouls, we've lost. And in games we haven't gotten them, we've probably won. And in close games, you can't afford that. You just have to bite your lip and let it go, and we're not doing that," Saunders said.
It should be noted that Saunders made that comment unsolicited as he closed his postgame press conference.
This has been building for a while between Sheed and Flip. I've read where they were even considering trading him.
*cues ominous music* :ninja:
About this Webber thing; When the news of a buyout came up, I figured it was a smart move. Macy simply wasn't part of the future in Philly. Of course, my thoughts on the matter were based on the assumption that the buyout would be a wee bit less than 86 cents on the dollar. Webber's got to be grinning like an idiot about this. He gets out of a horrible situation in Philly, 37M or so out of 43M that he was owed over two years and the ability to pick which title contender he signs with. Are you telling me the Sixers couldn't have just locked his ass at the end of the bench and used some leverage to get better terms. I'm not sure if there aren't some salary cap implications that I'm not aware of, but this looks bad, even for Billy King.
Also, after reading Bill Simmons' (whose opinions and views are usually in line with mine) recent column on the Suns, I'm officially a bit more scared. They'll never be a defensive stalwart, but they at least make an occasional attempt on D. They've got a few guys who can defend (though not with nearly enough regularity to be noteworthy). However, their offense is utterly ridiculous. 51% shooting? ...as a team? ...are you ****ing kidding me? Toss in 40% from 3, 81% from the line and 111 pts/game and it's a video game brought to life. If you can get them in the halfcourt, they're in trouble, but how friggin' hard is that going to be? I'm happy to rag on Phoenix because of the defensive deficiencies, but maybe I'm being a bit too dismissive. If Nash hits an open 3 and Dirk misses a long J with 0.1 seconds left, these bastards are riding a 29-game winning streak. WTF? No, really ...WTF? I refuse to crown their asses until they show me they aren't who I think they are, but they've got my attention.

Great win, but it would be nice if they played like this in Staples. Dallas always seems to beat the Lakers in Dallas, but have the hardest time winning at Staples.
Either way it's a great win. I wish Ernie, Kenny, and Charles would stick to talking about serious basketball instead of acting like morons. :csad: :cmad:
I truly believe Dallas is coming out of the west and will win it all this year.

From the Daily Dime:

I'm not and have never been sold on the Suns. I truly believe they'll the definition of what an overrated team is about. I've said once, and I'll say it again, Phoenix is a great team when it comes to the regular season since teams aren't putting all of their energy into stopping them.
Come the playoffs? I bet if they face the Jazz or the Lakers in the First Round they'll get bounced out in a heartbeat. Phoenix will never, ever win a championship until they get used to a half-court offensive/defensive setting.

Utah's got a big PG who can body up Nash enough to slow him down and a frontcourt that's proficient on the glass (one of the bet in the league) and can limit their fast break opportunities. They've hung two losses on Phoenix already and I like their chances in a best of 7.
Seeing Phoenix mentioned as having anything other than a puncher's chance concerning a title violates all kinds of premises that I've come to regard for teams going through the playoffs. This just can't happen. I'm at the point where I'm about to stop reading articles glorifying them. The consternation is too much.

I really don't get the hate for Pheonix? I mean you can't go on that many big winning streaks with that big of a so called weakness. I think that they just looks like they have weak defense because they are in a conference that is great.
If this team was on the east coast. You all would be saying it would be a lock for them to be in the finals. *scratches head* I really don't get the hate

Their defensive shortcomings are a weakness. Playoff basketball is usually played in different tone that what happens in the regular season. The game is officiated a bit differently, scoring comes down a little and you often see more halfcourt sets. Look at how the Suns struggled in the first two rounds last year before Dallas took them out. Both series (against lesser teams) went to 7 and for all intents and purposes, The Lakers (a team who they destroyed in the regular season) should have beaten them in the first round. The Suns were in big trouble any time the game was played at a more deliberate pace, which happens often in the playoffs.
The regular season doesn't guarantee anybody a thing. Phoenix finished with the top record in 05 and the 3rd best last year and both times they got dusted by teams who D'ed up and proved they could operate in the halfcourt. What conference they're in has nothing to do with it. Scoring is nice, but you need to be able to stop somebody come May/June. Practically all of the articles I've read about Phoenix this year reference at least somewhat improved play on the defensive side, which will be critical for any real success. Even with that said, I'm still not convinced their style of play can get it done when it counts. We've seen the flashy run-and-gun Suns flop out of the playoffs for the same reason. I'll need to see cause for change in the postseason. It's not hate, it's a belief that a team who regards defense as an afterthought isn't going to take the trophy.

If the Suns lose to anyone, it'll be because they can't rebound.
Mister J
01-20-2007, 12:17 PM
Their rebounding is fine. They're overall number is in the middle of the pack, but they're 2nd in the league in defensive rebounding. They don't get a lot of offensive rebounds because they shoot 50%; there aren't many rebounds to get on that side of the glass.
If the Suns lose to anyone, it'll be because they can't rebound.
I think the Suns biggest weakness is actually Steve Nash Stamina. What's he playing like 36 mins a game! It will be 40 mins + come playoff time!Last year he just looked exhausted by the time he got the WCF! I dont blame since he just played back to back 7 game series with the Clips and Lakers. If he can some how keep his pace without running out of gas, than they are the fav's to win it all!
LastSunrise1981
01-20-2007, 12:56 PM
The Suns are the Mavericks of 2002-2003. They feel they can outscore an opponent into submission on any given night. While it's true that it works in the regular season, come the playoffs, it's another story as no teams are really running and gunning at that point.
Teams in the playoffs are playing that half-court, slow, and grinding 48 minute offensive/defensive settings where fast breaks are extremely rare. The Lakers practically exposed the Suns in the series, however, they went away with what was making them own the Suns and decided to play the fast break game.
Anytime a team tries to run with the Suns they'll lose. But make the Suns play defense, play tough slow physical defense, and make them set up their offense rather than running and you'll own them.
That's why if the Suns face the Jazz or the Lakers First Round this year, they'll get trounced very quickly. Until they play defense and learn to play in a half-court setting they'll never get to a championship.
Defense gets to and wins championships.

The thing with the Suns is that they dictate the pace of the game. Right now they're my favorite to win the title, with Dallas trailing by just a hair.
Gilbert Arenas is still the MVP, though. :o

There are 2 things that are gauranteed this year:
1. The Suns will be in the finals. (Correct me if I am wrong they did take Dallas to seven games. Again you can't have that big a weakness, & compete that well. I dare anyone to tell me that if they had Staudamire last year. They wouldn't have been in the finals.)
2. Sunrise will be B***ing about forementioned Suns making the finals.

They lost to Dallas in 6 last year and it wasn't that close. Dallas ran with them and lost the first game. Then Avery reminded them that they actually could play defense and the Mavs took 4 out of the next 5, which were all games played at a more deliberate pace than the first.
And Amare wouldn't have made any more difference than he did when he was there in 2005 and the Spurs whipped Phoenix in 5 in the WCF. They couldn't play a bit of defense.

I detect a hint of fear.:cwink:
I have written it down. I can't take a picture yet. But I will have one for you sometime around June. I will ask Kobe to take one. He will have alot of free time on his hands then.:o
The reason why I pick the Suns over the other teams.
1. Spurs are getting to old. No one wants to admit it, but it about time to start rebuilding there.
2. Dallas choked big time last year. Until proven other wise they are chokers.
3. Lakers aren't deep enough. Come playoff time they will rely heavily on Kobe. We all saw how that turned out in Game 7 against Pheonix.(I don't care how far down you are. You don't leave until the game is finished, or you are injured simple as that!)
As you can clearly see just by the Rankings there is Dallas, & Pheonix. Then there is everybody else. If Dallas most notably Dirk doesn't choke & the Cuban circus doesn't come back this year. It will be an interesting showdown, & Dallas could pull it.
I know that everyone disagrees with me, & that is cool. Not the first time, but you can't dismiss how much they are dominating. Plus with all the hate they are getting. You also can't dismiss the danger of a team that has something to prove. Remember Miami?
I think we can all agree that ain't nobody winning a ship in the east. Not this year anyway.:ninja:

No excuses. Phoenix managed to take certain teams to the limit and their lack of defense constantly exposes them.
Now, granted they did beat Dallas in the playoffs the first time. That was due to the fact that Nash had something to prove to Mark Cuban for letting him go, which ultimately was his revenge against Dallas in the end.
However, as I have said, when Phoenix is forced to play a half-court setting where defense is the key and the offense has to be set up in an intelligent/calculating fashion they end up folding quicker than Webber did in 2002 against the Lakers.
Phoenix MAY make it to the Western Conference Finals. But if their First Round match is against the Lakers or the Jazz? They're going to receive an early exit.

Dallas lost because of horrible officiating, phantom calls, and a love affair that Stern has with the Heat/Wade. Yes, I said it and I'll stand by those words until I'm proven wrong.
You compare Miami to Phoenix? You do realize that Miami can play defense right? Miami knows how to play a half-court setting, they know how to set their offense up for 48 minutes, and they don't have a point guard that wears himself out in key situations.
If Miami were to face Phoenix in the Finals I can guarantee you that Miami would win it.
By the way, why are you so concerned with Dallas, Miami, and Phoenix? Your team isn't going to be anywhere near a championship again for a long time.
