As far as Zabuza goes, I think he redeemed himself in the end, after Haku died.

wtf about what ? Kira ? ... he's the only villian in the manga. Anyone trying to rule the world by all means, especially when it comes to killing authorities figures, goes down as a villian.

And of course I'm going by when they were villians ... not after the change of heart scenario.

How could I forget about Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist? He's the only Anime villain I've ever brought myself to hate more than Gendo (hate in the good way, that is).

My favorite villain is easily Char Aznable, from Mobile Suit Gundam et al. Why? Because, he's three times better than any normal villain.
Char's Counterattack is one of my favorite anime movies.

Next to him, Legato. Not my favorite Gung Ho Gun (if he counts as one), but that guy is ****ing crazy.

No it's not. Kenpachi's intention was never to kill Ichigo. If it happened, the only thing that would be proven would be that Kenpachi was stronger ,and didn't get a good fight.

Just because people oppose the main characters views to some slight degree doesn't automatically make the opposer an instant villain.

Kenpachi was looking for a good fight, nothing more.

Now, that I actually think about it, I take back my answer.
In retrospect I can't decide which villain is the most evil. All of them have done some pretty ****ed up things in the past, but I can't decide who's more diabolical. I have to think about it for a second. But the most evil would probably be kidbuu, because he's destroyed whole worlds without a moments hesitation nor an instants regret. Frieza is probably right behind him in the most evil category.

Okay k, I've thought about and this is the way I see it.
The coolest villain ever is a tie between: Sephiroth and Sesshomaru. But I think I like Sephiroth a little better

The evilest villain ever is definately:KidBuu, no "if" "ands" or "buts" about it.

And the most manipulative one is either Orochimaru or Naroku. Can't decide there.
