I never understood how artists would draw muscle definition on the armor.

The yellow parts of the armor are flexible metal which folds and forms like cloth.

And his attatche case looks like a normal black briefcase for the most part.

There's a hardcover edition available.

Overall, I enjoyed the storyline. Ellis wrote a great story and did a nice job updating Stark/Iron Man. IMO, he was on his A game. Granov's digital artwork was amazing. Especially his take on the armor.

If you ask me, this is the armor they should use for the movie. This one looks more like gleaming metal as opposed to the parkerized vaguely plastic look of Granov's. Helmet looks better too. :up:

i'm unfamiliar with firearms manufacture so i didn't recognize the term thanks

It really has nothing to do with the non-reflective property, though that sometimes is a side benefit.It is a protectact against deep metal corrosion. Yes, there is a very slight pebbling with parkerization. but if it visibly evident from around two feet, it was probably done improperly.
Any parkerized metal will react with cosmoline and turn green. It's kinda like how brass will get that "rainbow" patina on it if not cared for.
It's kinda like a penny or the Statue of Liberty. They are both made of copper, and both start out, well, copper colored. Weather, wear, corrosion turn them gree. The green is actually copper "rust".
However, Parkerized materials don't "rust" to green, they just kinda age to it.

Issue # 250 has the same Battle w/ DOOM..Epic:up:
Also, a number of the covers have been repeated. i.e. # 144, 244 the Vietnam origin story.

Yeah. Sometimes it's fun to see an artist establish his run on a comic by re-interpreting an iconic cover previously used on that title . Like isues #47 and #100 are kinda varients of #1.

The early repulsers were modular units that he could wear over his gauntlets and remove when not using them.

Superb! Looks like IM if he was done by the folks that draw the DC animated cartoons, which is a good thing. I always liked their Kirby-esque animation.
