But seriously apropos of the Crimson Dynamo's recent appearance in Iron Man- why is he shown engaging robbing a bank of all things?
I realise that with the demise of Soviet power, he lost the state funding necessary to keep his armor reparied and upgraded, but it still seems out of character for a "doctrinaire Bolshevik" to be engaged in such a common crime as "bank robbery"

Man, I wish I knew way Crimson Dynamo robbed a bank, it apparently is expensive to maintain the armor, with no Soviet Money, he could work for AIM.

maybe it was to lure iron man out so he could follow him to where stark stores the im tech and steal it

The Crymson Dynamo we saw was not the origional. There have been about six or seven. The one we saw was probably a mercenary of some kind who bought the suit on the black market, fell on hard times or into debt, and robbed a bank for quick cash.
