Hey guys, I was just wondering what are some good Batman tpbs that I should get.
I know the Batman character fairly well but never really got interested until recently.
Thanks in advanced. :)

Year One
Dark Knight Returns
Long Halloween
Dark Victory
The Killing Joke
Strange Apparitions
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Splurge and get the Illustrated by Neal Adams hardcovers. Beautiful art and great storytelling. Batman in the 70s was awesome.

Any way to sticky the recommendation threads? I know Mirko hates stickies, but there are like, 5 in the FF2 forum. :o

Pick up The Cult. Great GN.
For an elseworlds story, get Gotham by Gaslight.
For a collected story, get A Death in the Family and Venom.

Don't forget Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum, it's so good! And really, if you can find the back issues, Paul Jenkin's and Jae Lee did Jekyl and Hyde, which is one of Batman's best 6 issue runs. I really liked Broken City, and while this may start a war, Dark Knight Strikes Again was really good. It's completely different from DKR but if that's a crime we'd buy like two comics a year or something.
