Yes dude, I'm well aware of ebay and how to work it. Thanks though. I was wondering where people who buy in large amounts get theres. Me, I go to comic shops and throw out a offer on a long box or two, then we bargain. I find its a lot cheaper to do it that way rather then buy singles. Yesterday I bought a short box filled with Amazing for 70 bucks.
Does anybody know if dealers do this at cons?

Try not to buy comics in bulk for the sake of collecting. I've been doing that every month now since September. I will buy 15-20 comics twice a week then only read the ones I find interesting and stash the tedious looking ones for viewing later. I just looked over my comic collection of 800 comics last Monday and found out I haven't actually read 1/3 of my collection:eek: !! I've started reading many of them but found a great deal of my comic collection full of tedious or mediocre stories. I just buy them because I see something like 5 comics for a dollar or because they go with my collection, not because they interest me. You should buy comics based on interest. That's the best idea because most of these boring comics just take up space in my basement.:(
Thus, I say buy comics based on interest of that particular story and not for collecting because it is a waste of space in your house to have all those crappy comics in your collection and it significantly reduces your budget when you could be saving for college or a car or something.

By the way, if you still want to buy comics in bulk I have no idea where to find them online but you can try shopping around. For example, try antique stores, they may have a few. Or if you find a used bookstore in your area try shopping there, or maybe a collectible store, those are all the places I get my comics in bulk. Shop around, you'd be surprised how many comics you can find in bulk for a cheaper price than 70 dollars. At Half-price books, they sell 5 comics for a buck so that's 100 for $20. Who knows, you might find a Half-Price bookstore in your area. Also you may find bulk comics at other comic stores you've never visited. Like I said, shop around. I hope my advice helps.:)
garage sales, flea markets for me I sometimes find good deals there

(uh, you do realize there's an "edit" button on your post, right comicboy?)
in any case, no, I've never heard of being able to buy for that kind of price SANS S&H. Whoever was selling it would just be losing money, there'd be no point

Is there a rule against that? I'm new

Yeah, the rule was a sticky awhile ago in products. We had some problems with some users being taken by scams in ebay and such. Made a big mess

I banned him. He bumped a 4 year old thread to post links to his stuff for sale on ebay...he's one of new spammers we're encountering.
