Kevin Spacey is the first bad guy to get recast.
For fun, who would you cast if Bryan Singer brought back General Zod and company?

few men can play Zod like Terrance stamp did, hes the christopher Reeves of Zod. Hearing somone else say "Kneel Before Zod!", would no have the same feeling as it did in Superman 2. It would be like a bad remake to a classic movie.

I bet they'll have different costumes, like all black with their black crests on their chests and black capes....pretty cool!

You know, you're right.
It's really amazing when you think of how many people nailed their roles in the first Superman movies. Donner assembled an awesome cast.
Christopher Reeve as Superman
Margot Kidder as Lois Lane
Jackie Cooper as Perry White
Mark McClure as Jimmy Olson
Terrance Stamp as General Zod
Marlon Brando as Supe's dad
Sarah Douglas as Ursa
Ned Beatty & Gene Hackman
What a fantastic casting job!!

Here's an idea
Polly Walker as Ursa, Jason Isaacs as General Zod, and Triple H as Non

Polly Walker & Jason Isaacs all terrific bad guys in previous pieces, all can look evil scary! HHH a lot more intimidating than the previous Zod. Great fight scenes with Supes with that one! He doesn't have to talk, so it doesn't matter that he doesn't have an accent like the other two. Schwarzenegger proved that any bodybuilder can make an effective speechless killing machine in the movies. :o

Jason Isaacs would have been a sinister, bad ass Lex Luthor. Ive thought that since the Patriot!!!
I mean, who else wanted Superman to walk in the movie, squash Tavington like a bug, and walk out!!!
