I actually wouldnt mind seeing a less sci-fi Batman Beyond story IF the Batman Begins franchise becomes a long running deal. As for the cast? Christian Bale for Bruce Wayne - everyone else is anyones guess.

I would follow the original cartoon somewhat but have my own ideas and change things around as well. But the villains would be Derek Powers (Not yet Blight), Mr. Fixx, Shriek, Mad Stan, and The Jokerz.

Well, I would love to see a live action return of the joker, but then I would also love to see blight have a large villian role in the movie. I think that the scarcrow in the future could be done really well as well.

But if I were going to be more realistic I'd say:

1st movie: Starts with Bruce, has a heart attack. Ten yrs later, introduce Terry and explain his orgin like it was told in the amimated sereis. Then introduce Derek Powers, a corporate bussinessman, he is talking to dictors who reveal he is dying of a rare virus.. He is trying to take over Wayne industries. He can't take over until Bruce is dead. He sends a hitman named mr. fixx to kill Bruce. Terry who has recently learned of his father's death is going around the city in the bat-suit and tacking out his anger, by brutally beating up bad guys. Bruce is talking to him over the headset system in the suit, telling him he needs to control his anger. Suddenly his conncection to Bruce goes dead as he hears a scream. Terry flies over the roof-tops back to wayne manor, and Finds Mr. Fixx standing over Bruce's limp body. he and Mr. fixx go into an intense battle and it is revealved that he is the one who killed Terry's father. Terry beats him until he reveals who she works for, he says Derek Powers, then fixit tries to run, but terry is right behind him. Rather than being caught by batman and revealed to his boss as a traitor he throws himself of a cliff in the cave. Bruce is sent to the hospital, and Bruce goes To Powers headquarters without Bruce's guidence. Cut to Powers whose sin is starting to decay from from the virus. Serveral scientists and docters have him hooked up into machines and are about to try a light radiation cure. Batman comes crashing in through a window and recklessly throws a batarang at the machine, The machine crackles and Powers screams, the docters back away, the machine explodes in green light and Powers steps out from the green smoke and is revealved as Blight, Batman stands back in horror, what has he done. One of the doctors comes up and and tries to examine Powers, he touches them and their skin becomes infected with the decaying virus, but the effects are more rapid. Blight sees himself in a broken piece of glass and is enraged, he attackes batman, but his suit protects him from the radistion until his mask is burned off. "Mcguiness?" questions blight. It is revelaved that Terry's father is the ones who had been experimenting with a cure for cancer and the virus was created, infecting Powers, who had recently fired Warren Mcguiness, for lack of progression. While taking apart Warren's office he was infected.
Blight and Terry fight, but Terry cannot be touched by Blight, he uses a variety of battarangs which do some amount of damage to blight, who is suddenly finding his power reverting and he is turning back into Powers, just as the celing collapses crushing him underneath. Batman leaves the scence as the polcie arrive. The next day he goes to Bruce and tells him what he did, how he created a monster. Bruce reveals that he too has created his share of villians. It comes with being batman. Bruce says that Terry has earned the right to be batman. Batman stands at the top of the wayne enterprise building and removes his mask and says "I am darkness, I am the night, I am Batman. He puts his mask back on and jumps off the rooftop gliding over the futuristic city.

I'd do it like Rebirth for the first half and then maybe bring in some of the other villains (probably not Max) and end with the defeat of Blight/Powers

Batman Beyond:
Derek Powers, Mr. Fixx, Shriek, Mad Stan, The Jokerz
- Wayne Enterprises and Powers Corporation merge
- Mad Stan crashes corporate party and kidnaps female hostage
- Bruce tries out the prototype Batsuit
- Batman shoots mad stan and his men in desperation for his life
- Bruce gives up being Batman
- GCPD announces Batman is a wanted criminal
- Shriev's construction company is hired by Wayne Powers Corporation to demolish old parts of Gotham
- 20 years later Terry McGinnis is released from Juvenile hall. His father and Dana go pick him up.
- Warren McGinnis has business to attend to so he has no time to talk to Terry. An angered Terry starts an argument with his father in front of Dana for not being there for him and leaves with Dana.
- Warren receives a mysterious disc from his close friend who is then caught by Mr Fixx and escorted away.
- Derek Powers has a secret meeting with clients who are interested in buying a newly developed biological weapon.
- Jokerz interrupt Terry and Dana during their date


Batman Beyond 2:
Blight, Paxton Powers, Inque, Dr. Cuvier (minor role)
new characters- Max Gibson, Selina Kyle, Catwoman
- Kids at Hamilton High start Splicing

Batman Beyond 3:
The Repeller and Spellbinder
Spellbinder hallucinations- Joker and Scarecrow
- Bruce goes back into action in his new bat suit to fight off Spellbinder's hallucinations.
- Bruce also fights Terry thinking he's man-bat thanks to Spellbinder.
- Terry finds out Bruce is his biological father
