Nightwing Begins..Well....... Why Not? :)

You ever get so busy you totally forget to sit back and enjoy some of your work??
I Totally forgot about some of my Nightwing stuff until a phone call I got last week reminded me of it...;)...all of it...

This is my generic Mutant Jacket. Customized it with the blue stripe. Whipped up a matching set of gloves too. I want to get my cousin in here and take some proper worn pics with the leather pants, boots and B&R Robin Mask too.

One thing: where are the pants? :p

But seriously, it look spiffy. Any plan to make another NW costume from sculpt like you done with BB one? Not saying it should be sculpt like BB. Just the material use to make BB for NW one. Like the one from Batman & Robin if you will. But remove the cape, gauntlets that look like Bat wear, nipples & codpiece (or else! :p), & replace the red color with blue. :)

A little history on the jacket...

I guess you can say it has some current costume 'influences' however the design is all mine as is the uniqe bicept/arm attachment. Completely unique and was a pain to engineer.
This is not a modified jacket. 100% built from the ground up.
It's a garment that I manufacture but considering my current work load just cant offer at this time, however I do have plans to reintroduce it as soon as we have time to dedicate to the headache of making them. LOL
Of course, I only offer it in one color, black preferably and with absolutely NO customization what so ever. Meaning no logos or identifying markings. Just a black leather jacket.

Again, that would be something to consider in the future...near future??? Not sure yet.

I'm very pleased with the respose to this. It's kinda 'out there' as far as costumes go but...I dig the whole 'out of the box' way of doing things anyhow.

Thanks again for the kind words. I'm just waiting for my cousin to come by and take some good pics of him in the whole thing...mask, pants and boots. :)

Although he's a very tall slim guy, the jacket was still really one size too small on him. Still, fun pics.

Interesting. The only thing I would change if it were mine and I were capable would be:

- To make the blue slightly darker.
- Have the 'Nightwing emblem/logo' however you want to say it pop out a little bit besides just being 'painted' onto the suit.
- Try to make the torso looks less like the Batman Begins suit (doesn't look identical but still).

Overall great suit though.

Great work as always David, the only thing that doesn't quite look right on the jacket is the zipper it should be black to match the jacket.

Can you not get the black zippers for these jackets or do they not make them?

Very well designed though and i would love one for the M/C, can wait to see what comes next.

I'm bumping this very old thread that I came across because I was trying to find one on a Batman Begins leather jacket very similar to the Nightwing jacket. I don't know if you ever did a Batman Begins-style mutant leather jacket version, though. Was that yours?
I really can't remember if I saw the jacket on these boards or somewhere else. I just remember that it was incredibly cool looking.
