I made this on pencil, then I paint a base of whatyer colors, and I paint it a lot on PHOTOSHOP!!! :)

the real reason of this costume, is that I like it as it look! so I have to give a reason, and thats the reason, this is a technology, ( with a material like chrome ) suit of kripton, and superman use this costume made by his dad for the kripton army! with this costume, superman can made all the things that he do without broking it so easy!!! so that is what I what to draw, and those are the reason! and on this way! I am doing a modern superman and Chris reeve!

Your art is great. I've always admired it. There is one question that I have, though. The skin area's are always done with softness, which, to me, really adds to the realism of the piece. I just wonder why you don't use the same method when creating the suit. Especially in the ribcage area, you always use hard lines. Believe me, I'm in no way criticizing your work. It's awesome. I just wondered about that.

and almost everyone agrees with him... the Superman movies and TV series never showed him wearing the classic suit as armor because Superman does NOT need it

All the directors after singer was madeing a ruber costume!! and if you look well, you are going to see that the batman costumes, are more in the Superman inspiration than batman!! look the way how the cape come out of the costume!!!

Look at the Belts, are all orbed and the batman is belt is square!

Look at the boots! they have the boots in V like superman, and batman have the boots on peak! so... batman costumes was like superman costumes, and I like them in that way!! Routh would look much better in one of those, and I have all the rigth to do it in the way I like, you are not paying me to made things in other way!! I love the movie, and I like brandon routh as superman, but I dont like to much the costume!!!

Well, thats ok! there are people who like that , and others dont! but, If he need it or not! that is matter of what you want!! I watched Superman the movie again last night and am still blown away by the film. Now Im thinking maybe they should have left well enough alone and not done a 2006 movie. Chris looks, breathes, walks, flies like Superman. He stands there and you cower (or if you're a girl, there might be swooning involved--LOL) You get the impression of immense power barely contained.

With Margot Kidder as Lois you see a somewhat cynical girl suddenly made to believe. Remember the line "You'll be fighting every politician?" She has lost faith. But in seeing Superman, it's restored. She suddenly isnt as sure as herself and Kidder plays that beautifully.

Chris embodied everything that is Superman AND from the very first moment you see him on screen. We dont have to wait for him to grow into the role. (As I hear so many say about Routh--who did a good job. But wasnt Superman for me ---and many others apparently.)
