About the new batsuit

its me again.......here is my idea of the next batsuit.....i thought it might be more artactive if the suit comes with the old gray and black look!

hmmmmmm . . . I do kind of like it, but I hate how the old school suit gives him the "outside underwear" look . . .

Plus, practically speaking; he's already very stealth in the all-black suit, so adding the gray now would detract from that . . . also, it makes his head look waaaaay too big, and I think it's a bit too big as it is . . . .

okay . . . how bout they change it, but the gray is much darker than your pic? Try darkening it up some, and that might look a lil better . . .

looks pretty good... but i prefer more black... and less gray...

ew....looks very tacky. gray rubber just does NOT look good. sorry but i hate the idea of Batman wearing light gray and i especially don't like the idea of underoos on the outside.

Guys, they only did it in the comics for contrast purposes. Black on black wouldn't have worked, cause you couldn't see the bat.

Course later they just added the yellow oval...

I think what we got was perfect. the suit was gray, but more of a charcol gray then a very light gray. my only suggestion would be that the bat symbol on his chest would be black instead of the say gray color as the suit.

And I don't think its a good idea to claim that you came up with this design and have copyrighted it. I've seen this same design a million times before when the suit pictures first came out.

I'm not totally sold on a cloth suit, and I'm not totally sold on a rubber suit . . . can't they somehow fuse the best of both worlds together!?

that pic does look awesome as an individual idea, but that wouldn't work for the movie. in the picture, it works, but in a motion picture, it would look way too tacky.

stick with what works. and that's the suit from BB.

I think it was good the way it was in BB. The only thing I'd really change with the BB suit would be the bat symbol on the chest. And by change, I mean getting rid of it *is lynched by "hardcore" Batman fans who don't see past the superficial visuals and are less concerned with the essence of Batman*. Oh, and I'd change the utility belt to make it stand out less (it's a bit too bright, IMO). For the sake of continuity though, they might as well keep the bat on the chest, but they could still change around the belt a bit, from movie to movie.

Rubber looks bad, cloth is unrealistic...

Course in the movie, wasn't the suit supposed to be body armor, they just made it out of rubber for flexibility?

I kinda wish they'd gone with that color scheme to begin with, but it would really make no sense to change to that now. Plus, the all-black works more practically for stealth.

I'm all for a black and grey suit, but it's got to be MUCH darker than that.

Like this unaltered pic of a Batman figure. There are crappy photos and the figure is too shiny, but the actual colours would look great on a real-life suit. That's how dark it needs to be.

There have been plenty of manips done of the Begins suit with this colour scheme so I won't bother with that. But basically, such a colour scheme would allow the suit to look as black and stealth as you want it when it needs to be, and have a nice striking yet subtle contrast when you want it as well.

This really could have gone in to the "a new look for bats" thread.
