If anyone did more to keep Batman from destruction during the past 13 years. It would be Kevin Conroy. He does the voice of Batman in the animated series and Justice League series. All of which kept Batman popular even with the horrible "Batman & Robin" movie trying to drag Bats down.

When I made this suggestion on another forum. Someone came up with a cool idea for him. In the sequel have a "Grey Ghost" flashback similar to the animated episode. Just don't have him looking for the actor now. Just a flashback of a young Bruce watching an episode of the Grey Ghost with Kevin as the Ghost.

He should have been Thomas Wayne.

William Hurt should've been Thomas Wayne. Or Tom Selleck. I liked Roache though.

it would be stellar if he was the dude who taught Batman to fight prior to meeting Ra's . . . also in falshback mode . . . putting Grey Ghost in the story wouldn't make any sense unless the Grey Ghost got involved like in that ep of BTAS (you know that was a nod to Adam West, whom voiced GG, right?)

Hurt would have been fantastic as Thomas Wayne.

It's Gray Ghost, people. With an "A," not "E." I think it's a wonderful idea by the way.

I actually want to see Adam West for Mayor of Gotham and Kevin Conroy as his aid and then you could have a joke inserted in where Kevin is talking to Adam.

Kevin: What kind of man goes flying around going... (in Batman voice) 'I'm Batman. Halt I'm Batman! Freeze there I'm the Batman!' :batman: :hq: :joker:

He should have been Thomas Wayne.

Kevin Conroy was a regular on an old Vietnam TV show called TOUR OF DUTY (1st season, anyway) that I watched religiously when I was a kid and own the DVDs now. He was not a bad actor, but he certainly was nothing to write home about. Probably why he was written out in the 2nd season.

i think if anyone deserves a cameo in a batman movie it should be Adam West. i say make him the mayor.

"well joker if its a yelling match you want you got it"
"ahhhhhhhhhhhh, im yelling louder then you"

Kevin Conroy has done much more to better Batman than Adam West - give him a cameo.

Yeah, but Adam West is like the king of cameos. To not have an Adam West cameo in a Batman franchise feels unnatural.

Wouldn't it be crazy to have a scene with all prior Batman actors in a room together? Like boardmembers at a meeting, or inmate at Arkham or something. It'll never happen, but it would be kinda funny.

it would only be funny if all of the old batmans rallied together and murdered clooney. THAT is comedy.

I think you may have mentioned him once. I also think he'd make a good Mr. Freeze or Professor X (which is Marvel, of course)

As for Conroy, I wouldn't mind seeing him. Most average moviegoers won't recognize him, so it wouldn't be such a shocking and enjoyable cameo to most, but to us Batman fans, it'd be a nice treat.

First of all, if they did cameo's BTAS style, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini should be numbers one and two on that list, followed by Conroy. Then I'd want Jett from BOF to have one and if anything, anything at all, Conroy should be mayor and Adam West should be shining his shoes. And even that's pushing it.

Here, here - Jett needs a cameo!

Conroy should be a homeless guy in crime alley. He insults bruce for not being a true hero "like that batman character".

ADAM F'N WEST! He's gotta be in there somewhere. Maybe as a Doctor in Arkham? Or an inmate... who loves his taffy.... mmmmm.

It would rule if they were just people on the board of Wayne Enterprises. Heck, whats wrong with that?

For Conroy it would be no problem, his voice is great - yet unrecognizable to most of the world.

Adam West is another thing entirely - his voice is known world wide as campy Superman. If they have him there and not have him say one word it would be fine - anymore and its overkill.

It really hurts me to say because I am a big Adam West fan.

Screw a cameo! They should dub Conroy's Batman voice over Bale's. :p

I dig that. Adam West on the board of Wayne Enterpises. Who said he has to say anything? Just have him on camera.

Indeed.
Or you could give some of the board members names of famous Batman writers or actors, not from the first 4 films of course.Only fans would be able to spot those and i don't think the film would suffer from it.

Daredevil had lots of fun references and cameos like that.

Would it have been funny if they snuck in Keaton or Kilmer or even Clooney in the court room, just in the background so that people like us would have to pause and scan. I am glad that never happend, it would be like having Schulmacherena play Joe Chill.

I like the idea of West and/or Conroy on the Wayne Enterprises board.

Of course I just like the idea of Adam West period. Especially when he plays the mayor on Family Guy. :)

He really is one of the best characters on that show.

Seriously though, Wayne needs to walk into the board room during one scene to find Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Adam West, and Kevin Conroy all members of the board, then Clooney gets fired.

I think a good cameo for Conroy would maybe to have him bump into Bruce Wayne like when they are walking or something. And Conroy should be piss & try to intimated(sp?) Bruce Wayne by trying to talk like he is Batman or something. Yeah, it may seem stupid but I just thought it would good for a little laugh. :)

I hate "Family Guy's" Adam West. I want Adam West playing a board member, or the mayor and Kevin Conroy in it somehow doing his "Batman" voice as a tip of the hat to the fans.

Well since its his voice thats well known I think thats what should be used in the movie. For example a phone call from someone or a radio show.

You learn something everyday:up:

Someone here(forgot who) had a great idea for a Michael Keaton cameo in Batman Beins. If remember correctly, Keaton would be walking around with his child at an amusement park and he starts to get angry and yells 'You wanna get nuts, lets get nuts'.:D

IMO the only few people that could get a cameo and deserve it would be Dini, Timm, Conroy or Jett. No one would really recognize them outside of the diehard fans (like old Jimmie Olsen and Lois Lane in SR, and various cameos in the H2G2 movie) and yet those in the know, would.

That would be a great scene, but I think it might be pushing it a little far.

I think Conroy would be the best choice, because even if you've seen BTAS, that doesn't mean you know who voiced Bats in it, and even if you know that, it doesn't mean you know what he looks like.

Basically, it's the least obvious nod to past Batman incarnations.

No the TV (George Reeves) Lois and Jimmy Olsen. Old Lois played the old lady that gave Lex his money and Jimmy Olsen played the bartender that served Jimmy and Kent a beer before Kent returned as Superman.

Also H2G2 is Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. In that movie the lady who played Trillion on the stage version of the series played the woman at the bar, the TV Marvin makes a cameo appearance waiting in line at the Vogon Planet, and the Arthur Dent from the TV and Radio Shows plays the answering machine for Magrathea. Also Douglas Adams's mother can be seen reading the paper before the world explodes and a replica of Douglas Adam's nose is used several times in the film - his head makes an appearance at the end of the film as well.

Shouldn't that be HGTTG? or perhaps HG2TG?

Those are also abreviations for the Guide. H2G2 is used also: H2G2= Hx2 (HitchHikers) Gx2 (Guide to the Galaxy). I use it because its the shortest.
