Yeah. This was just a bad pair up. Strange would easily remove Superman from action.

Strange could move them both to a dimension where science based powers don't work and then conduct an invasive medical exam :)

Or he could just kill him with magic, one of Superman's greatest weaknesses.

Ah, but Strange is a doctor and offhand I can't remember him ever killing except in the case of demons and other supernatural creatures. Do no harm!

So what if Superman is weak to magic. Dr.Fate is on the same level of magic use as Strange yet he Supes still owned him.

Actually, from what I've seen the two do, I'd say Strange is better. And Superman would fall to Strange. Someone who can hold people in place, bind them in unbreakable bonds, put them to sleep, conceal themselves, psychically invade them, stop time for everybody but who he chooses? Superman is just outclassed.

The original Fate the pre Nabu Kent Nelson was a very competant sorceror and was probably a good match for Strange. When they introduced Nabu as a possessing entity the Fate character began to go downhill a bit. I have seen very little of the post Kent Nelson Fates but they seem to have gone downhill even more.

if its straight up,then supes takes it,like Hulk did in issue 299.But Strange can just say screw it and send him to another dimension like he did Hulk in issue 300
