I know Smith is notoriously slow, but is this still in the pipeline or is it no longer happening?

i heard the project was scrapped

it was scrapped. last year he visited UHA (wich kicked ass) and i flat out asked him why he cansled on it. "isnt it obviouse? jersey girl" and that was that. he just got a kick in the balls with that movie and really lost the confidence to do hornet. i still think that woulda been one of the better comic movies to make, exspecialy by a guy who knows his stuff like kevin.

He said in another interview that if he made that, he'd suddenly no longer be able to crack on people that make superhero movies that suck, because he'd be one of them.

Who stole this guy's balls? I mean honestly, the guy sounds in the interview on the SHH frontpage that he has absolutely no confidence in himself. Sounds like even he thinks he sucks.

Now I don't think he's particularly great, or a strong director, but he knows his material so I think he could succeed.

It's important to be humble, but he just sounds now like he got spat in the face by someone.
