I swear I think someone is ****ing with me because whenever I'm signed on, it logs off automatically and sez it was disconnected remotely. and it also said that my screename is signed on somewhere else.
I then uninstalled my aim and then got the newer version. I changed my passwords, I firewalled my IP, I added a password to my computer and it stills signs me off. And I've tried with 3 different AIM accounts.
Now I can't even sign on at all.
can anyone help?

It will most likely do the same. What you have to do is allow access to your computer from that "site" as it says. When I got norton I had to add MSN as a friendly site/program

Any Local firewall if not properly configured to allow the AIM data to travel back and forth may keep disconnecting you.
Try disabling the Symantec software, then run AIM and see if it works for a bit.
