Definitely not a bad choice. I would probably go with Hilary Duff or Elisha Cuthbert, but this Sarah definitely looks like I would imagine Kara to be. :up:

I also like that she's not too young either. She's 22, so that's a good age. If they pick a Kara that's too young, the film comes off as too kiddie. I've been saying that a Supergirl film would be a great transition for someone like Hilary Duff to make to more adult-oriented films, but I'm liking this option here as well with Sarah Mason.

The basis for the story works but the first film was God awful. Anyhoo, I like Alyson Michalka. She's very pretty, and I know who she is. She's got the physicality, but she's a bit younger than I would prefer. The film would probably benefit more from an actress portraying a young adult, than a teeny bopper.

Finding someone in their early 20's or at a minimum of 19 probably serves the film better. However that said, if the film were not made for a few years, this Alyson might be a candidate.

So far, Sarah Mason is the best viable option I've seen so far. She's a good age, and a good height. While many have suggested Hilary Duff, and I could see her working as well, she's a bit short. Sarah Mason is the best option so far, but in a few years, this Alyson Michalka might be good too.

Again, perfect choice. And it doesn't look as though she's be going down the Duff/Lohan route. Yeah, she sings and all but I don't see her trying to get down everyones throats to show that she's there.

Alyson Michalka is a decent choice. I could see her believeably playing Brandon Routh's younger cousin.

I think there are better choices out there though.

I do think Supergirl should initially be played in the 16-18 age range to line up with her comic origins; both classic and modern, and to make a strong diffrenciation between her age and Brandon's.

I think Alyson Michalka is a perfect choice for Supergirl. I've seen some say that she's too young. She's the same age as Hayden Panetierre give or take a month or two. She also looks older than Hayden does. She's tall, but not quite amazon height, so she's good there. Given she's a pretty good actress and can be pretty physical. She fits the bill pretty perfectly for Supergirl.

Hayden and Hilary are both wayyy too small. Superman is always perceived as relatively tall, not freakish, but maybe 6'2"-6'4". A Superman cast with either of those two as Supergirl, assuming Superman is in the movie, he'd stand atleast a foot taller than the 5'1"-5'2" Hayden/Hilary. Aly, on the other hand stands 5'8"-5'9". While not the Amazonian just about 6' you'd want to play wonder woman, she falls perfectly in line for Supergirl. All Alyson really needs to do is straighten her hair.

She has the height, the looks, the body, and the physicality as well as the acting ability to play Supergirl.
