Haveing a debate with this guy... with everything involved... does Lizard/Conners story warrant a fourth movie by himself and maybe Scorpion/Kraven with everything considered as a finale to the franchise.... like... would it be a worthy investment for Sony to resign Raimi and TObey... would it just whore out the franchise... would it be too repetitive... or would it actually work as a conclusion... would the cast be back etc... I think most of us agree these three movies work best as a trilogy... poll in a sec

Haha, you made a poll out of this. Nice. I didn't see the if the cast returned option when I voted, but that is what I think. Like I asked you before, what more can you do with a new crew for a new trilogy? I don't think there is a second trilogy with what is left, so I think a last film with the Lizard and a side villain with the old cast is the best option.

I'm all for it if the cast returned... but I mean everyone... including Dunst... but I am a realistic person

The Original cast will slowly depart naturally, although sometimes if the stories are right and good as well as the money, they can keep the core together.
If you continue to dish out good movies, it dont get repetitive. Just have to know what your doing.

1-I prefer to keep the cast together if at all possible.
2-I'm EXTREMELY skeptical of Lizard being in a movie.
3-everybody's scared of a fourth movie but it's for invalid reasons. Superman & Batman didn't go too far; they went in the wrong direction. You can keep a franchise going as long as you're making GOOD movies.

Gotta have the Lizard in one of these movies, preferrably SM4, but....
....not as the "finale". The finale has to somehow be of epic proportions, and be some looming threat more menacing than any before --- something like the Sinister Six, or maybe even Carnage, are good examples.

I'd prefer SS.

All right Harry dies in 3 so Franco's gone. Raimi can definitely be persuaded to come back because he loves the characters and the stories. All the actors and actresses that play the smaller roles haven't been in many movies I've seen recently, so it can't be hard to bring them back. That just leaves Tobey and Dunst. I think these two could definitely be brought back if they're offered some big $. It doesn't matter which villain(s) they use choose for the 4th, no one could cost more money in special effects than Sandman, a goblin and Venom in one movie. So they save money there that they could offer to Tobey and Dunst.

I think it would cost around thirty million to keep Dunst/Tobey... I just can't figure out why people just don't wanna move on with the recasts... if it's gonna happen eventually... might as well happen now.

I completely disagree.
