Superman Nude? Reports Says Playgirl Offers Brandon Routh Deal

Superman Returns star Brandon Routh has received an offer of $500,000 to pose nude for Playgirl, In Touch Weekly is reporting. But according to the report the star has yet to accept as he's uncertain he wants to go that route.

In Touch cites an insider that says that Brandon is being wooed to pose naked for an upcoming pictorial.

“Brandon’s gorgeous, and the editors noticed,” the insider says. “He has the body and face of a Greek god.” The insider says Brandon, 26, was offered about $500,000 for the layout, but he’s yet to accept it.

“Brandon’s from the Midwest,” the insider says. “He’s not that comfortable with nudity.” The magazine does note that the actor did appear half-naked in a 1997 high school play in Des Moines, Iowa.

Superman Returns disappointed at the box office, but it did help Brandon Routh with his fame. Is Playgirl the way to go for him now? Not likely.

Yeah, I doubt he will too. But it has me a little worried that he didn't refuse it outright. Heh, I think if I were him and Warner tried to blame the mediocre Superman Returns box office on me, I'd do the photo shoot just out of spite.
