Marvel Origins Statues.

Well I cant find any pics but they are in the most recent Toyfair. And they look sweeetly awesome.

It's a new line of Statues from Diamond and it's one of the greatest statue concepts ever and I am conna buy them all. The first two are Daredevil and Iron Man.

Let me describe them to you.......It's got a square base, and to the back of the base is a Black and White First Appearance (Yellow) Daredevil stanbding all cool and ****. And on the front of the base is a mini Diorama about 1/4 the size of B&W DD. Now this mini Diorama is on Color. And what is it of? Well if you haven't guesses it's young Matt Murdoch with his hands over his eyes and a dumped over barrel of toxic waste........sweeeet.

As for Iron Man it's the same thing. FA IM all B&W in the back and a little color Tony Stark buiding his suit in the front. No others from the line were announced but They said not to expect too many mutants in the line cause all they have to do is be born.


The DD rocks a little better than the IM IMO but I'll get them both. And I will anxiously await more. Spider-man will definetally be done with Petey getting bitten up front. Captain America with hi m in the tub up front.

The Fantastic Four could be done seperately with them each discovering thier powers or they could be done as a linking set to form the team in the back and the four of them in the ship in the front.

Wolverine is one I would look forward to....even though I dislike him. but he could be in his tube getting the Adamantium in front with his B&W kitty whiskers in the back.

Hulk with banner getting blasted.

If they wanted to put more mutants in they could change it from Origins to "Defining Moments"

Villains could be done in thise line as well.

Anyway if anyone else can see or find pics put em up.

They should do one of DOOM.

so ya... i love the black and white parts of the statues... but the mini people showing the origin looks really crappy to me.. and not sculpted to well.. they look like little claymation people

they may not be completely finished yet though. so maybe they'll touch up some stuff. I don't know. I'm going to try my hardest to stay away from these. I figured out how much it would cost me to get doubles of all the ML stuff and how much it would cost to get one of each DC superhero and about how much it would be to get the DCD figs I might want when they come out. Between now and March, I think I'll be spending about $1,000 on figs. Can't push that anymore with statues etc.

Yup, it sure is. But you know, you're a pretty big spender on here too. Just for s***s and giggles, how bout you keep track of how much money you spend on figs/comics etc between now and March. Keeping up with DCD, DSH, and ML isn't easy. And I think I'm really gonna have to stop with the doubles of ML.

actually the line up is still mixed... infact.. due to siviler war, its more likely Mighty Avengers will be Tony's team.. and New Avengers Caps... Think about it for a second... Wasp and She-Hulk are both on the pro registration side.. when the rest of the new avengers (other then iron man and (when spidey switches sides)) are not... Cap, Spidey, Luke Cage are not.. Wolverine and Sentry are kinda up in the air though... Wolverine's just so far going after the truth behind the disaster conspiracy, and Sentry hasnt been shown what side hes on yet

I noticed a Flaw.


The Captain America Statue....his shield is round....In all the others it is their First Appearance in the B&W....But not Cap....It' looks like his FA in the Marvel Age...in which case the color part shoule be the Avengers staning over hsi frozen body
