Brett Ratner's Spider-man
P.S Tim Burton is one of the best directors working today.

Give Ratner some props.
I refuse to fully judge Ratner until he does a superhero movie, without damn Fox rushing him, or him finishing unfinished, already started work.

True... but any talented director working today with allot of time and a huge budget could probably make a decent superhero movie, but there will always be pressure by the studios when it comes to their blockbusters, its the directors who can make great movies with hard circumstances that says something, and honestly Ratner did not perform under pressure and he had no more difficulties in production than Singer previously.

Anyone that Ang Lee touches would be the worst.

Looks like if Brett Ratner directed a Spider-man movie, it would be the next Batman & Robin. Everyone on this board hates the idea of a Brett Ratner Spider-man movie!

Joel can not make a good superhero movie unless...It was the Ambiguously Gay Duo.

why is that speedball?
why is that speedball?
Too many nonsensical Joel Schumacher threads.
These multiple choices make head hurt. :o
After the Batman movies, please, keep Joel Schumacher far, far away from the superhero movies.

Anything by Joel Schumacher and Brett Ratner has and will always suck!
However Tim Burtons X-men might be good!

Joel Schumacher's Hulk would just be terrifying. I mean Hulk would probaly be an uptight sophisticated man while Banner was a babarian named Rick Jones, it would just be wrong.

Its funny, last time I checked the only director to date to have worked on a superhero movie that has been nominated for an Oscar is Ang Lee. He must be horrible. Please, you may not have enjoyed his Hulk but it wasnt anywhere near bad. It was different that what you expected which was midnless Hulk smash for two hours and he gave you somehting deeper and got into the mind of the Hulk. Either way this thread is just stupid.
