In consideration of all the leading ladies I'd overlooked the first time (http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9543398#post9543398), here's a revised poll (if the admins see fit to delete the other thread, please do so, thank you).

Note folks -> This is a poll for leading ladies of recent years in the genre of comic book movie. That's perhaps within the span of a maximum of 10 years.

I would say Rebecca Romjin in X-Men, but she's not in the poll, so my next vote goes to Jennifer Garner for Elektra, thirdly goes to Halle Berry for X-Men.

Other characters stated above portrayed in other films are just humble people compared to Jennifer.

Kate Bosworth played a horrible Lois Lane..As far as acting ablitity goes I'd have to say Kirsten Dunset and Jennifer Connelly were best.

Wow. It shows this is a weaker point.

While I see the departure from the comics and too much screaming for Dunst, she does play an interesting love interest who hase her own hopes and motivations so is interesting. But oy does her screaming get annoying.

Katie Holmes....I think not. Bosworth was lackluster.

Alba is a terrible actress (though great on the eyes) and just really doesn't do it. Wow....

I guess Michelle Pffiefer as Catwoman is the best followed by Famke and Rebbecca Romjin in the first two X-Men movies (forget X3 and The Punisher) but as they're not listed, it is a toss up between Garner and Connolly. Connolly had the most complex and interesting of the characters and is a great actress but Garner was quite good as Elektra in DD (forget the Elektra movie).

But I will still say Pffiefer is the best though.

Jennifer Connelly is by far the best, IMO. In nearly every superhero movie so far, the supporting actress' performance never particularly shines, but Connelly's was really the best thing about Hulk. I thought Bosworth and Jansen were pretty good as well.
