Despite your opinion, many people enjoyed the film, and it did make a profit.

Hellboy is one of the best comic book movies easily, with it's blend of action and subtle ironic humour. I can understand that a lot of people couldn't get the humour in it, as it was a little too advanced for the blockbuster movie goers, but as this thread is showing, there are enough of us and we're all dieing to see a sequel!

Pan is coming to the US on December 29th, but it will most likely be a limited release (Damn!)

Hellboy rocks, it always comes in the top 10 comic book films polls, in like empire and total film etc, you should be ashamed of yourself as a comic book fan if you don't like it!

Hellboy is looked down on since it is compared to movies like Spider-man and Batman. Movies that had double the budget.

If Hellboy wasn't thought of as just an unconventional superhero film, but as a new take on sci-fi action, I think people would enjoy it more.

After all, Hellboy is meant to be a paranormal detective. Not some spandex-clad world defender.

If Doug gets the role of Silver Surfer in the next Fantastic 4 film and then follows it with HB2, it could finally mean that people are going to start noticing him and start giving him some nice juicy roles that are truly worthy of his talent.

I was just kidding when I said it sucked. I'm not a loyal fan of the devil dude but it was a great flick. And it actually introduced a lot of people to the Hellboy character, including myself.
