I hope wolverine is more darker in the spinoff because the wolverine in the last 3 movies hasnt been dark at all. I think hugh jackman does a good job but like i said if you look at wolverine hes a dark character who doesn''t work well with others and he hasnt been portrayed right in my eyes i hope they get rid of the costume wolverine weres in the previous movies and gives him the one from X-men evoultion . Wolverine doesnt give a rats ass about anybody read the comics they did get the jean greay thing right and in the spinnoff they will probably focus on his origin and his past . I cant wait to see it, but i hope its done right

well i dont know who cinemaman is, but i can assure you that i will be impressed no matter what and wont leave the forums. this doesnt mean there wont be any mistakes on the movie, but i love any scene with my favorite superhero wolverine on screen!

He was willing to believe Superman Returns would rock and now that it's a flop, he hid quietly in the shadows.

Singer's managed to majorly screw up the Superman character and now he's coming towards the Wolverine movie spin-off. How would you like to see wolvie changed into a wuss or crying around because of a lost love?

Now after that poor superman movie you guys dont want him back as Wolerine director. thats great hope it is a good cast, dont really need many big stars for this just needs a real good story, have you read the book, Wolverine: weapon x its a novel i mentioned it in the directors tread it is real good and adds alot to the actual science of how wolvies healing factor works i would love to see it used for the movie

The prequel news doesn't bother me but word of the bone claws just took the wind out of my sails. I HATE even the concept of bone claws.

Still, I'll back this film when the time comes. Logan is just too cool not to get excited.

Marvel's dishing up Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Iron Man before Wolverine even hits. I like to focus and get hyped for whatever's currently at the plate.

The start date won't be anytime soon - Hugh is doing his Boy from Oz arena tour in Australia right now through Oct. 2, then he starts filming another movie in NYC on Oct. 9, and then the Baz Luhrmann movie with Nicole Kidman in Australia starting in February with rumors of a six-month shoot. My GUESS is Wolverine maybe filmed after that (going by Shuler-Donner's "he's doing the Baz Luhrman movie in Australia" quote which makes it sound like "Wolverine" may be after that). Hopefully Hugh may say something on his talk show rounds starting in October to promote the four movies he has coming out in October and November, or perhaps in magazine interviews to promote them.

Truthfully I have been waiting my whole life for this movie and the Star Wars saga to reach episode 3. I'm half way there and dying for the satisfaction of the origin of Wolverine. The mystery, the rage, the sad mind of amnesia leading to trusting no one. His isolation, anger, and hidden hero inside this anti-hero makes him the real hero. He had Batman's attitude before Batman adapted it in Batman 89 and Frank Miller's novels. In all... I'm 21, grown up ass police officer and lusting for the bigscreen Wolverine.

isn't this movie going to be one of the first installments from the indipendant Marvel production studios though?
if it IS, that would be fantastic!
you KNOW Marvel won't **** it up! they'll have too much to lose from their fans. but if it's not, it's quite possible that this movie could be to commecial and tamed down like the prior XMen movies. boo hoo.

Yeah, Wolverine will be one big commerical, with placement ads everywhere. They will make it PG-13 to increase possivble audience size, which is in itself blasphmey(sp). I just hope that it is a decent movie, one that you can watch without hitting the person next to you in anger, but one that is enjoyable to watch, regardless of whether it follows the story, comic or otherwise.
